The same thing happened to me. The woman asked for our CIO in the IT department and asked to be transferred. She then called back and asked for our HR department and for the main number to our agency. I told her we don't have one. She then called back a third time and I refused to answer.

These people called seven times in a row!  The first time the man with a strange foreign accent called for our IT person and mispronounced his name so I sent it straight to voicemail knowing it was a sales call.  Of course he called right back and asked for someone completely different.  I told him that if they are looking for the IT department, the gentleman he previously asked for is the right person but he kept asking for different people and wouldn't let up.  Then he asked for someone who didn't even work here, then asked for our HR department.  When he asked for the person in our payroll department and when I sent that to voicemail, I heard him say "this is b***s**t" before the call was transferred.  Of course they called right back so I picked up and hung up.  They called back THREE MORE TIMES and after the third time of this stupid game, I finally answered and he proceeded to tell me that I needed to do my job and transfer the call!  I told him I was doing my job and keeping his sales call from going thru.  He tried telling me that it wasn't a sales call and I said that I could tell in the background that it was.  When he started to get belligerent with me, I told him I wasn't going to take any more of his calls and hung up on him.  I don't know who they are, but they are rude, and nasty.  They will never, ever, get through as long as I work here!  It was such an awful experience!!  Whoever they are, I hope they are put out of business very soon for shoddy work practices and their harassing calls!

I have gotten calls from 0-207-451-1800 to our business yesterday afternoon and this morning. They called to verify who was in charge of Logistics and if another person still worked there. I started out politely answering the woman's questions since they were all work related. However, she became annoying and needy very fast. Having me search for information that I finally said that was all I could help her with. She hung up and called me 3 more times and kept hanging up. I eventually stopped answering.

This morning I get a call from the number and honestly I picked it up because I was curious if this nut job really was calling me back. I got a man this time and I proceeded to let him know that I answered the same questions yesterday and I did not have time to do so. He was very aggressive and basically talked right over me. So i started answering his questions but with lots of attitude saying things like "that information hasn't changed in the last 10 hours since your lady friend called me with the EXACT same questions". This was my response for at least 3 of his questions. He finally called me a stupid ***** and hung up. I talked to him twice this morning and havent gotten a call again...yet.

I got a call at work lat in the afternoon; and was highly suspicious, so I jotted down the information and checked it out on Spokeo; and there was no information there as well.  I will just disregard all calls from this number in the future.  Thanks to all for your posts

Received a call from this number. They did not say much if anything after I said hello at least three times. Then they hung up the phone. However, I'm puzzled, because I'm not a business, and I'm on the national do not call list. What's up??

Some guy calls with fake accent wanting to know how we are related to some compnay similar to our name I said I dont know who are they he said they are out of California look them up look them up now....I said well I dont want to look them up why should I care who they are and he said are you related to them I said why what do you care and he hung up.  JERK!

OMG a friend of mine DID give them all his information (he's not that bright) including FAXING stuff to them with his Driver's License and Social Security card. It has taken MONTHS to get this straightened out! They tapped his bank accounts and credit cards for THOUSANDS of dollars (oh they helped his credit rating alright) they got a duplicate of his DL and attached some guy named Ramesh to his Social Security who filed to draw benefits right away. We have had to lock down his credit, get a new SS# and DL# for him, close ALL his accounts and some do not want to reimburse him because he was such an idiot! I worked for a credit counseling service years ago - A LEGAL one and we NEVER cold called anyone. Ever. So if ANYONE calls wanting to help lower your credit card debt DO NOT GIVE them ANYTHING!

pull up the sounds of a gunshot on her computer and tell them you're going to kill yourself if they don't stop calling. If they continue on then use the sound - they WON'T call back again! They just use another number to call and harass you from so calling the cops to report them - meh. Doesn't do any good to go to the NDNCL either; again this is a non-American company using auto-dialers and when they get a human they lock on that number. My goal is to mentally break every single person working there to the point it costs them so much to hire and train new people that it puts them out of business.

just mess with them! If they answer with one accent use a different one. I have an app on my iPhone that gives me the phrase in another language and even pronounces it for me. Have it on the computer too but still - it's sooooo much fun to do that like you don't speak English. And the faking a suicide while on the phone with them - they WILL NEVER call back again! I hate getting the calls too but it's still fun to just mess with them. I've reported them to the National Do Not Call List but they still call. They're NOT calling from the US; they use that number to route calls usually from Africa or somewhere else  - have you ever tried to call it back? It's ALWAYS busy. It's a scam but then again we can have just as much fun messing with them. Please do that the next time - great stress relief when you do. Sometimes it makes my day to just freak them out so bad that they probably quit or have a nervous breakdown.

whenever I get a call asking for my husband I either do one of two things: I started screaming and crying (sounding like I am anyway) and yelling at them for being cruel that my husband just died tragically and how heartless they are for calling. The best is a simulated gunshot saying that I'm going to kill myself because of their call and then - BANG! OMG they freak out so bad and NEVER call back.

The other is if they call for my husband and I ask them for the code word then slip into my best Russian accent asking if they have 'the package ready'. Or try a mideastern one and throw in a lot of Praise Allah - they will NEVER call again! LOL I just torture them for bugging me - they usually get the message to not call here again.

One other one - when they call your HOME (as they do mine) asking for a strange man's name I ask who is calling then say, "let me roll over and asking him if he's taking calls. You're not a friend of his crazy wife are you? I'll cut her, I swear!" and they will hang up.

I got a call from this id-10-t the other day, I didn't know who it was so I answered the phone in Spanish. They hung up. 15 minutes later they called back so I answered the phone in Japanese - the person they had talking spoke Spanish. So 15 minutes later they called back in English again, I answered in German. I really had fun messing with them. Not that I know a lot of languages but it's easy to get the basics off the internet. Finally they had the lady who speaks Spanish call me back and I cussed her out in Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, German, Korean and Japanese (thanks Systran and Google Translate!) she was so freaked out they haven't called back since. Number was the same and several times Unknown as well but same stupid people. 207-451-1800. Just mess with them, they'll get frustrated and stop calling. Not to mention it's a great way to relieve stress and tickle your own funnybone.
