Received call from this number today (Sunday!) morning at 10:20 a.m.  I have seen this number associated with Bank of America.  They have called several times in the past with various third party offers.  They are very hard to shake.  They don't want to take "no" for an answer.  These telemarketers have a very slimy sales approach.

We get at least 4 calls a day from this number, when the phone is answered they hang up.
Very rude and annoying.  Take time away from productive issues.

call wiki identifies them as Verizon New England.   I sent an email through the Verizon support.  let's see if that stops it.

Caller ID says card services. We have also been getting calls, almost daily, from Bank of America #866-822-9401. According to the comments for that number, it's BOA trying to sell you identity theft protection. Oddly enough, we didn't start receiving calls from BOA until we stopped using that particular card.

And as I sat here typing this, the aforementioned 866 number called me... a mere 8 minutes after the 207 number! I answered and said "please remove this number from your calling list." We'll see how that goes. Vultures!

Getting calls from this number several times a day, 3 times in the last 2 hours.  Driving us crazy.

This same number has called my house for the last 2 months. They call at least 10 times a day. I have answered the phone many times stating that they are from BofA asking for my wife. I have told them many times to stop calling and they still do. Today they have out done themselves they have called more than 16 times in 4 hours. This is B***S***! I still dont know how they get our number if my number is privet. If anyone knows how to make these a***oles stop calling please let me know. Thanks

Number calling me is (207)4932619!!

This company calls me everyday. I've put spam caller on my id caller so I know it's them calling. I don't answer them. I just answer the call and them quickly hang up. I don't even speak, just touch answer and hang up. I've had enough of them to talk.

I file a complaint against them daily with the FTC.  Does no good.  Why do they even have a Do Not Call List, if we ar enot able to prosecute them?

I too have had countless calls from this number.  One of the advantages of having internet-based phone service is that you can "Black List" phone numbers which is what I did to this number.  When they try to call again the phone doesn't ring and they are given a message that says this number is no longer in service.

PS I use ITP as my internet phone provider and have been happy with them.

now i know! they call so we can get annoyed and buy this stuff! Now that's what i call marketing!

Who are these people? What do they want? How do they get phone numbers? Their  number is 207-493-2619.They call several times a day! Most of the time I don't pick up the phone or am not home.  Today I did pick up and there was static and voices in background- today a woman tried to say hello and I told her to stop calling and hung up. I'll be curious to see if this actually stops the calls.

I am so frustrated by this company. On June 28th I logged 17 calls from them!  I spoke to the rep as well as her "manager". They both told me they had the authority to continue the calls until my number was processed as a Do Not Call.  She said that would take approx 30 days.  They told me they were with Bank of America.  Who knows.... T

If you have an account with B of AM they can call you.  You can ask to have your name taken off the list.  I researched this number and came up with this page.  I called the number back and the guy said it was about B of Am privacy assist premier fraud monitoring service, which is a legitimate service of B of Am.  They said they would take my name off the list and it would take up to 30 days to take it off and I might get calls before that, to just ignore them and they were sorry for the inconvenience.  There is no need to get so angry about this. Although it can be annoying.  Why it takes 30 days is a mystery.   I bet all of you have accounts with them.  The people who are doing the actual calling might be from an independent company, corps like B of Am contract with others to do their promos sometimes.

They called me 14 times in less than 24 hours. The man said he has the legal right to call.

Can you believe that they have called 4 more times since my original post 2 hrs and 26 min ago? Unbelievable.

This does border on harrasment - it is almost as if their phone is on auto dial and set for every half hour - calls today at 9:10 am, 9:36 am, 9:59 am, 10:55 am, 11:14 am, 11:39 am, 12:10 pm, 12:13 pm, 12:36 pm, 1:18 pm, 1:39 am,  and 2:00 pm. Give me a break - if it was a legitimate call you would think that they would leave a detailed message.

They have been calling me several times a day, but today they have been calling every half hour since about 9am.  This is  ridiculous.  I have been on the do not call register for a l,ong time, so how is it that they can keep calling.  The caller ID says "Card Services" or "Unknown" but it's the same number.

Call LITERALLY 10 times a day - have called 6 time from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. Hubby finally got someone to talk to and they said they were BOA and it would take 30 days to put us on their do not call list. What BS. I have reported them to the do not call registry.

I have been getting calls from them, too.  Claiming to be B of A.  I told them that I wanted the calls to stop and they told me that it would take 30 days to get off their call list.  This is crazy. They call aleast 10 times a day.  I have had enough, and I going to report them too.  I have Vonage as my phone carrier, and they send my husband emails when we receive calls, so I have it documented how many times they have called and when.  This is a form of harassment!

Same as everyone else on here.  Calls 6+ times a day roughly every hour sometimes more often.  Have asked them to stop and got the same 30 days response.

I too had heard that you can press #### on your phone to kick your number out of their system.  I've tried that a couple of times but it doesn't work.  They are still calling----up to a dozen or so times a day.

Today, 27 Jun 2011, I received 7 calls from 207-493-2619. They have been calling me everyday for months. They never leave a message which tells me these are automated calls (computers are doing the calling).     Today was the day that the straw that the camels back.  I called the number, there was a recording about ID theft and in a moment someone would be on the line to help me. When the person answered, I laid the phone down and turned on the vacuum. They had the nerve to hang up on me, so I called the number again, vacuum still running, they hung up again. I was going to do it 7 times since that was how many time they had called today, but after 4 I spoke to a person (female), I initially asked them to stop calling. !!!!!! They said they needed my number to add it to their do not call list. Sorry, but I went into an unprintable list of 4 letter words saying, you have called me everyday, several times a day for months. You must have my number memorized by now so why in the #### do I have to give you my number. Then I hung up. A few minute later, guess who called again. This time I started the conversation off with the same unprintable list of 4 letters words (female), I'm ashamed with myself for having cussed, but I'm hoping they got the message. It has been an hour and they have not called, yet!!!!!

I finally called my Congressman's office today after I received three calls before 9am. They checked it out and they are indeed contracted by BoA.  I called the bank to complain and they denied it, but when we called the "real" BoA number they verified it was also Synergis Systems (sp?).  Representative from my congressman's office called them and instructed them to remove my number, but they said it would take over 30 days to have it removed. I will call him back if this doesn't straighten it out.

Since my congressman's office called them about 4 hours ago I have received 4 calls; seven total and it is just now 3pm.  Am going to try complaint with phone company as well.  

This is all on Bank of America trying to sell indentity theft.

Calling every hour today; They have been calling for days and I will never answer but there must be a way for phone regulators to stop this scam.

they have been calling us for the past week and under different id's (unknown name and card services) they never leave a msg and when i pick up they hang up.  i called the number back (after they called 7 times today) from my cell and told them to stop calling and that i was registered w/the do not call list and was reporting them.  they claimed to be w/BOA and gave me the 866 # to call BOA but said it could take 30 days to take me off the list.  i called the security dept w/BOA, they called the # and said they were in no way affiliated w/BOA and that they would begin their own investigation.  i told them to just google the number and read the blogs......anyhoo, filing a complaint w/the do not call register........
