I nearly got scammed by these people.  My interest rates went up on two credit cards because the LIBOR rate had gone up.  When they called they said they could lower my rate to 6.9 because I had been a good customer since 1991.  Like a fool I jumped right on it.  I thought I was talking to my credit card company.  I was asked to verify my address, phone and credit card numbers.  I did so willingly.  Then was told the manager was busy with another client and would call me back.  After hanging up, I realized what a fool I was.  I called the number on the back of my credit card and they put me to the fraud dept.  The fraud department immediately cancelled both cards and issued new numbers that would take two weeks before I could get the new cards.  When the manager called back, I told him I had changed my mind.  He said you can't change your mind, you have agreed to the transaction and we have charged your cards $750.00 each.  Which I replied " no you didn't.  The cards have been cancelled by the credit card fraud department ".  After he said "YOU IDIOT" to me, he hung up.

Thank you for that tip!  I will start answering my phone again!

I just received a call from Caribou so i searched and came up with this site.  I know it's a job for a well meaning soul, but I HATE this form of sales!  They KNOW you are likely to answer your phone!  If I forget and answer before looking, or let's say my 5 year old picks it up and thinks she's doing me a favor by pressing the talk button as she gives it to me, my usual spiel is, "you know, I'd might have been likely to buy a few of those ____, but I'm opposed to phone sales intrusions, tell your boss"  and I hang up first.  i never got on the no call list - I suspect that only presents a challenge to the true sharks.  They like to say "this is NOT a sales call" a lot anyway, looking for a loop hole.

This company called my home & cell phone.  Both numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list.  Caller ID said "credit services.".

I'm filing a complaint w/ FCC since they don't talk human-to-human.

207-493-2630 caller id says Caribou, Maine. Telemarketer calling from 207-493-2630. Robodialers are illegal for use to California phone numbers. Other comments on this number point to another unscrupulous operator. Here is a transcript from the recorded message: "It is urgent however that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press one now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates or press two to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day"

The caller ID said Credit Services; no message was left.

i got this call when i was trying to sleep. I checked it was one i did not recognize so did not answer. i found this site with this number mentioned by Googling the number. It was my cell phone it called. Used to be only my home phone was abused by these **&^%^s. Does leaving my message here help?

They will not stop calling me after I have told them to remove me and opted out through their automated system.  They are relentless.

Got a call from this number as well as from 406-219-2096 with the same message that starts in the middle of a woman talking about this being your last chance to lower your interest rates on your account, blah, blah...and offering to opt out of future deals by pressing a number.

For years, I've constantly been getting calls from Cardholder Services.  Caller ID: CREDIT SERVICES.  Finally, they're at least telling you who they are in the Caller ID!  I've told them several times to remove me from their call list.  They are always calling during business hours and I don't want the calls.  The DO NOT CALL registry is lame.  One time, I even screamed as loud as I could and they keep calling back.  These creeps have taught me not to do ANY business over the phone because you really don't know if the person on the other end is legit.

Just got a call from this number and they left the exact same message.  I didn't answer as I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  This is the first call I have received from this number.  Like how it's my "final notice."  Who are these people?

I get calls from this number twice a day for the past month. I'm on the DNC list. I hope they get busted.

I just received my sixth or seventh call in less than a week from this number. The pressing 2 to stop the calls does not work, so this time I pressed one to speak to someone. I could hear a TV in the background, so it was obviously someone running a scam from home. I did not even give them a chance to say anything besides "Hello, Card Services" before I went off and told them that I will take legal action if they ever call my house again.

Call comes up on caller ID as " " from 207-493-2630.   Caller has no knowledge of actual accounts and is phishing for information.   HANG UP!

I got a call from them.  No message. I have a Panasonic call blocking phone and I put their number on it. The phone was a great investment.
