my wife got several calls the other day but didn't answer. Caller ID said unknown. after several calls she did answer and after a long pause, got an annoying buzz and then disconnected. Today while I was at work, the same number 207-493-2686 called 17 times, varying from 10 - 20 minutes apart. Some one find them and cut their phone cord.

they keep harrasing with their annoying calls. i don't want to be bothered with them. they make you mad

Sure. Be nice tell them ok to whatever they say. That means they will charge your phone number a major amount.
Try some ethical business practices. Maybe that would work better.

Another suggestion for those getting the calls (like me). Let them talk, then when they stop tell them:
I get to ride in a police car today. They are coming to get me and buy me an ice cream cone. Then they made me promise to tell where the body is.

I heard that on siruis xm radio yesterday on the comic channel. Maybe THEN they will leave you alone.

Get calls all the time from this number or one almost like it. Haven't been answering them lateley, but did answer one and it was about diabetic supplies. Told them not to call back, but they keep calling.

I keep getting calls from this number and they don't say anything but then the recording says "GOOD-BYE."  Whatever floats your boat.

has to be robocalling. there is no one there.
Yelling obscenities loud and fast on the first ring gives me great satisfaction.

Be wise never buy anything or give to anyone that calls or sends an email.

THis number has called by business phone 4 times today...I have not been answering since I have caller ID

The callers all ask the same questions. Don't know what they are selling, but their approach surely turned me off.

This company is calling us, several times a day from 2 different phone #'s, 207-493-2686 from Caribou ME & 253-246-8555 as announcement But is the same phone call/company. They've been told to stop calling we're on the DNC list, there is no one here that is diabetic etc, etc, but they continue to call. Very annoying.

I immediately said to take me off there calling list. She asked rudely "why".  I said " I don't have to tell you why" and hung up!

I received several calls all day from this Maine # starting at 9:30 this morning.  And even though I told the girl my telephone number is on the do not call list, she kept calling me back even after I told her not to.  When I didn't answer her call backs, she left a message on my answering set calling me a "rude old woman, I kill you!  I kill you!"  I kept the recording and called the police.  An officer came out and listened to the recording.  I hope they can put these horrible pests out of business.  All they are doing is trying to steal all of our Medicare benefits and get access to information that's none of their business. Best thing to do is hang up on them and don't give them any information.

Ours is coming from 243 numbers but the same company!!! And NOOOO we are not being nice anymore. I believe it's a huge scam targeted at seniors. I asked them for their company information, there is none, no phone number, no address and of course the person I was talking to was a supervisor that barely spoke english. I told her I was turning her in for calling people on the DNC list which is a $25K fine for each number dialed, and I did. Hope it works, morons!!!

I am also getting unwanted calls from these people. two days in a row.  I told them that I am on the do not call list.  I asked for her name and to repeat the companie's name, at that point she hung up on me.  I am reporting  this company to the FCC.    

Also they had such a heavy accent that I could barley understand them.

Senior Diabetic group called house twice at different times.  Said both husband and I had filled out forms indicating we had a diabetic in our household.  (WE NEVER DID THIS).  Very insistent that I tell them if we had a diabetic in the household so they could refer them to a website to buy diabetic products.

Strong accent--possibly Asian--lots of noise in background like a call center.  Would not give a call back number.

I have been having the same problem and I asked today to speak to a supervisor and she said that they have none. So I asked who this is and she said Senior of Diabetic Group. I then asked her where it was located and she said Middletown, Delaware. She wanted to know why and I told her that I was going to report them to the Att. Generals Office of Ohio for telephone harassment.  I hope this can be of help because I know that it sure is annorying. When it comes upon the caller ID it says unknow and all zeros.

I have been harassed for three weeks with calls from the group every half hour from 8;30 AM to 9:30 PM
The caller refuses to give the telephone number so I don't know the phone number.
I tried reporting it as a fraud to 311 but could not give adequate details.

Well, I played their little game and guess what? They said they would have a lawyer call me. They didn't call me but today an envelope comes FedEx with papers to fill out and send back, OVERNIGHTED! So I sent them back, maybe if it starts costing them money they will quit! At least I have not gotten any more phone calls!

They have been relentless in calling here! So today I played the game and am wasting their time. You would have thought they had an orgasm as I told them my father (who is dead) is diabetic, does not test because he cant afford the supplies, does not have insurance, too young for social security and yes he has had congestive heart failure and a heart attack while on Avandia! Oh my, they are now going to have a lawyer call me because he is entitles to part of a huge multi million dollar lawsuit for people like him. The excitement in their voice was unbelievable. The first person put me through to their supervisor. Cannot wait to get the call from the lawyer and let them know that I'm not sure if we want to proceed with them or another company that has been calling.  :) HA HA HA

They called constantly when I had a newborn baby trying to sleep in the house.  In the last few months, they've called at least a few times a week.  I just spoke to a woman who had a very thick accent who said she was responding to an online form I filled out for someone in my household who has diabeties, which of course, is complete BS.  I could hardly hear her or understand her, from all the noise in her call room, so I asked her waht she said, because I couldn't hear her, and she hung up on me.  How rude can anyone get, to first, call random strangers at home and disrupt their households and invade their privacy, and then hang up on them?

the best thing is to talk to them nicely and answer politely im sure they will not be rode to you!!!
and just say yes to them .... or ok to them ...everything will get fine ..... if they say would that be ok for you just say yes... and im sure it would be the last call for you......

June 24........3 consecutive calls from
Diebetic society. Asked them to stop.

I have been receiving numerous phone calls everyday from this number.  It is listed as Caribou, ME.  I am unsure how to make them stop.  I simply do not answer, but my phone rings constantly.

Ten calls in 2 days.  I am going to take badtwin's advice and not answer when they call.  I did report their number to the FTC Do Not Call.  I guess that must have been a waste of time.  Hope not.

I received 8 phone calls from this number yesterday within 30 minutes of each other and today I received 1. After about the 3rd call yesterday I told them to remove me from there mailing list and they hung up. The 4th and 5th time I told them the same thing and that they had the wrong number because I do not know anyone who is diabetic. Again, they disconnected the call and proceeded to call back two more times. Both times I ignored the call and today I did the same thing. I think that if you dont answer the phone then they will leave you alone because they cant talk to a live a person. Ive noticed the more you answer there calls the more they keep calling you back. If I knew the name of the company that this doing this I would write a letter to Better Business Bureau for harrassament. There calls are getting WAY out of control and very unprofessional.
