+442073560000 this number is giving me miss calls(probably blank calls).

they called my cel phone 20 minutes ago. when the called and I listened to the recording, I seleced to speak with a rep., and a woman answered. i then asked her who they were and how they got my number and she hung up. this is probably an overses scam!! do not give out info!!!!

Today I got an unexpected call from this other phone number +442074448124 which
is central London, UK phone number 444-8124.  Considering the timeframe, and the
seemingly identical modus operandi, I'm assuming that these two are connected in
business (or, are from the same company).  Larry

I decided to call the +442074920983 number again, and it had a beep at the end, so I left a message, saying to please leave me alone.  Yet once again I got another call,(on the 20th) this time from +442074821681.  I said "Hello" twice, no answer, then I said "Please stop calling me!" and hung up.

How you know its United Debt Aid? Care to share how you found this out?

Hey I recently started getting the same dang calls on my cell phone and Im fed up! Here are the numbers they use 44-207-428-6661,  44-207-496-2024,  44-207-470-0092, 44-207-423-0658.  These are all the SAME people. I wish they would leaveme the hell alone.  I dont have any interest rates to lower so why the hell they calling me?

I got a mysterious phone call from the same number as well but I didn't hear the phone ring so I didn't answer, no message was left but I haven't heard back from them since.  I wish someone could uncover who this was and how they are getting our phone numbers, my cell is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry so I really want to know.  I find it interesting that most people seemed to receive it at the same time, around 8pm EST on 2/19.

Yeah, I got this missed call yesterday afternoon (PST) 19-Feb-2008, from +442074962024.

Poking around on the Internet, I can explain that the +44207 as seen on GSM networks, like
the cell phone service I use: the "+" prefix, the Country Code "44" which means United Kingdom
i.e. UK; then 0207 which is dialed as 207 (I don't recall why;).  That "0207" means the Inner
London region, according to British Telecom, aka BT.  Then the phone number itself which is
496-2024.  I don't want to spend any airtime or money on this rot.

I keep getting phone calls on my cell phone with +442074######.  I don't answer, but it's becoming annoying.

Got 3 missed calls last night 9:15pm, 10:12pm and 10:30pm. Did not leave a message. This happened two weeks ago as well.

442074962024 called my phone today-i did not answer- they did not leave message- i've only had my phone number for two weeks- called early in the morning

I got a phone call from this number +442074962024..i didnt know the number so i didn't answer..but they left no message on my cell..when i tried to call the number back my service plain would not allow the call to go through. I have no idea who this person is or even how they got my cell number..all i do know is that it is a number from over seas some where..who in the hell is this...

I got a phone call from +442074920983 a few days ago and they hung up.  Today I got one from +442074962024 which was another hangup.  I tried calling back this time, it rang once and then gave me a busy signal.  Then I tried to call the first number and it said something about being out of service.

It's United Debt Aid.  Whoever they are, they're a-holes.

A number of calls from this number (442074962024) have come to my cell phone. When I've missed the call, they've never left a message. I just answered the call and got a recording saying something like "your credit card is about to expire, please stay on the line to get information about..." I stayed on the line and a person eventually came on and I told them I don't have a credit card, don't want a credit card, and want my name removed from their calling list and the calling lists of any group associated with their group. The man then said, "Is there anyone else in your home that has a credit card?" I told him no and hung up. This call came at 7:30 PM Eastern time, 2/19/2008.

This is in reference to sarahs comment. Did anyone deal with a carchex place or an insurance company for an extended warranty. Sarah blogged that she did and i know i did. If anyone else has, then that is where they are getting our cell numbers.

The +44 is an international dialing code from the UK.  When I chose 1 to speak to a live person, the phone just hung up.

Missed call on my cell phone...third call in 2 weeks from a 4442074****** number. On 2/16 got a call from 442074744261 to lower the interest rate on my credit card...any credit card that I had. On 1/28 got a call from 442074230658 that was in reference to an extended warranty on my car...they just wanted to know the make and model of the car I drive.

I got a call on my cell phone and didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.

They have called my land line and my cell.  How is they can get our number but we can't find out anything about this number?

The call came in twice in the last hour. I answer, the party on the other end would give prompts to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. I took the call the second time. I asked the name of the company, they asked me if I would be interested in lowering my rates. I told them to put me on there do not call list. He wanted a yes or no answer on the question of lowering my credit card rates. When I told him no. He hung up on me.

I have received numerous calls with +44 at the beginning of this number.  No messages have been left.
