Speaks very quietly and almost tries to make what they say purposefully difficult to understand.
Called from 207-512-5389
Asked me to call mack to 888-675-4485
By accent I think they are indeed from Augusta Maine addy.
Called once before, clearer, and number came up as a Palo Alto California number.
I believe this is a scam, and they have an IP scrambler.

* 207-512-5389:(from apparent "BRYANT HODGE&Whoever Associates,etc.."...over a couple different
instances (2-4 calls within (last) week or more...
* Automatic recording asks "If you are(IN-audible)/so&so..."(all 2-4 times I've answered/listened to the call).
* Would love to get the number removed: Unfortunately/or maybe fortunately(idk) Bryant Hodge and
associates have no interest in clarifying who they are/who 'I' am;OR what they want, and apparently I'm
not finding out that its anything I want (to do with them...)

Got several calls from this number on our home phone number which we don't use (can't even remember the number if I wanted to call it). The line came as part of a cable bundle. It was a Brad Fuller with Bryant Hodge & Assoc. about personal business. In some calls the caller requests to speak with someone whose name I can't make out. Some other calls sound similar to my name but again, it is mechanical so I can't understand it for sure. It's very threatening and refers to reference number but never actually provides the number. It does give a call back number of 888-675-4485. After reading the posts on here, I probably wont call it back. Seemed shady that the same guy called a number nobody we know has and asked for different people. Thanks for posts everyone!

My husband received a called from "Bryant Hodge & Associates" asking for his ex-couple which he has not seen in about or not known about 7 years. How the hell these people get his number, I have not clue. That bi*** has not been in our lives for so long. What an unprofessional debt collection.

Debt collectors have 5 days to send written validation of debt. These guys "bought" or "looked up" old past due debts whose statute of limitations had ran out. There is no SOL on how long these guys can call. You CAN tell them to stop calling and only contact you by mail. They have old or limited information, this is why they call every Molly Simpson listed if they are looking for someone named Molly Simpson. If you make a payment,SOL is re-instated.If there is a judgement, they can garnish wages. There ARE a lot of scammers out there...NEVER give bank info over the phone! Or your SS#!!!

Message left on machine - recording from the noted Brad Fuller. It starts out "This message is for , if this is not the intended party....." No name was spoken! Some fishing expedition he's on when he does not even have a name for the phone number he's dialing. Scammer for sure!

I just got "a call" from this number... I say "a call" because the called both home lines and my personel cell number all at the same time. I couldn't answer all three, but the one I could answer was a hangup. How does one keep these calls from even coming in?
| Denise 2012-10-08 17:13:16 Prank Call |
Hang ups from this number. Is there no organization with regards to internet crime? I want these people turned in and dealt with. Why is this harrassment allowed to continue unpunished?

I have receive this call more than once, This is obviously a phone "Phishing" scam. Says "this message is for: $5 billion, one million, 400 thousand... This is Brad Fuller... about a debt or personal financial matter" and then at the end after telling me to call them on the 800#, it says "your reference # is" but then just cuts off without a number.
They seem to be finding some old financial reference to something (almost anything) that links with your name or number so that they can try to get you to call them. If they do talk to you, they are trying to get more personal information, which they will most likely use maliciously in some way. Beware, they are getting more prevalent and even targeting smart phones with text messages.
If you get a call from anyone professing to be a collection agent or the likes, just tell them to send you the information in writing and you will respond when you receive it. They should already have your mailing address, if it is anything legit. Don't give it or any other information to them . Just say send me the information and then hang up..

Oh, looky... Yet another bottom-feeding collection scammer, trying to sound oh so official.
Recorded message claiming to be from Brad Fuller with "Bryant Hodge & Associates, a professional debt collection and asset recovery corporation." The computer generated name it said it was for was completely garbled.
Don't give them any information. They only buy un-collectable accounts that are way out of statute of limitations, and have likely already been through half-a-dozen other collection scammers. They can't do diddly with them unless you foolishly do something to restart the clock. Tell them to eff-off and hang up, or better yet, don't talk to them at all.

Second call in two months on my cell. I called back and the gentleman asked for Leiah Dalton. I replied I didn't know this person and had no idea who whe was. I was told she had given my number as a secondary contact. I said sorry I don't know the person. The gentleman said he would remove my number from the file. We'll see.

Recieved a phone call from this number, Bryant, hodges and associates. Told me I had a loan from Citi Financial from 1988. I've never had dealings with citi financial and it's way past the S.O.L.
They wanted my debit card number to clear up the debt.
I told them that I had called Citi Financial, which I did, they had no record of me from any year. I had to call 4 different depts. to find that out.
When I told them that I needed validation of debt before I " gave " money to a person or company that I have never heard of, he then told me that they have nothing in writing in regards to this loan other then them purchasing it.
It is now on my credit report. I now have to dispute this item and hope that the credit beureus do their job. If Bryant, Hodges and Associates has no validation, it should be removed.
Be careful, this company is very shrwed and can be very rude on the phone as soon as you ask for validation. They were very happy and pleasant and eager up until I asked for validation of the debt.
Wish me luck!

This company blasted every single one of my phone numbers simultaneously from cell phones to land lines. As they would say, the switchboard lit up like a Christmas tree. They probably have some sort of advanced robo-caller.
Anyway, it was the same as above, some person named Jill left a message. Put this number on your blacklist and report them, it's a scam operation.

Received a recorded message from Brad Fuller from Bryant Hodge & Assoc., asking me to call regarding a "personal business matter." I returned the call after 5pm and left a message in "Tim Smith's" voicemail. The next morning I called back several more times to try to get to the bottom of this - no live operators and keep getting put into "Tim Smith's Voicemail....This phone number is also linked to a toll free # 888-675-4485 - this is the number they asked me to call them back on. Guess what, both numbers you are transferred into Tim's voicemail. I'm thinking SCAM

A recorded message from BRAD FULLER at Bryant, Hodge & Associates, a debt collector. It said my name in a garbled voice and asked me to press 1. I was then instructed to call him 1-888 675-4485 and reference some ridiculous number that I could not memorize (over a billion) and didn't have a chance to write down. I hung up before the female voice finished reciting it. I don't owe any debt. If someone with my same name owes this joker a debt, and it's this high, good luck.

This a scam outfit posing as a debt collection agency. They called me over my do-not-call number and asked me to call them back over a toll-free number. I have reported them to DNC. Hope they will do something about it. I have also blocked them on my phone.
