I got a call from this number today. I attempted to call back, but I got an operator message, saying that "your call cannot be completed as dialed". I guess it's a hacker, probably living in his basement, thinking he's hilarious because he's wasting people's time spamming their phones. Oh well. I'm going to add the number under the name "Hax0r" and simply not pick up if they call again.

They've called me twice already today. Who the hell are they? I do reside in Idaho.

I receive calls from 208 000 0000 multiple times every day. I never answer and they never leave a message. Their validity needs to be assessed and taken care of if possible. Thank you.

Calls several times a day sometimes every 5 minutes. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I get at least 6 of these calls a day, frustrating, I answered once, and no one there, so I put the # on call block. The only problem with that is it does still ring once. So today I dialed back, and a recorded operator said "can not complete as dialed"..Was thinking of calling the phone co. but may be a waste of time. What is wrong with these people!!

My number has been on the hit list a long time, so I continually get spam calls. This one popped up the last couple of days and calls at least once a day, sometimes twice. For these idiots, I've made a contact called "Spam Calls" and I save the number to this contact. But, the kicker is, the contact is blocked (which you can do with Verizon accounts), so all these spam numbers can't get through anymore. I love it! :) Give it a try.

annoying calling everyday several times a day... cant stand it,, do not answer... and when i do i am not going to be polite... so right now ill let them get the answering machine... heres the thing im on the fl do not call list and the goverments do not call list.. so why am i still getting calls for BS... like leisure vacations, donations, republican and democrat parties..  Enough Already... Good Luck with getting rid of pest, these pest are worse than ants..

guys, these calls are hackers. i get these a lot, it either shows 208-000-0000 or just 208 + nothing else. i believe these are hackers messing with people's phones + seeing whose number is valid+invalid. thats all it is. but i wish these people would stop calling all the time. they gotta do something better with their lives other than make harassing calls.

They've called here several times and I never pick up, today I picked up, they asked for me (hello, is this Mrs. Smith) and even though that is my name, I told them they had the wrong number. He very politely apologized and hung up. Hopefully that should do it.

The caller [asked for me by my name] said her company name was 'Specialty Travels' [isn't that special]. I hung up.

Left no message. I don't know anyone in Idaho.Just another scam.

I got two calls from this number. The lady said she was Michelle looking for my mom, but my mom doesn't speak english i told her this was her speaking. she asked me for Tiffany and Robert my supposedly daughter and son. I said I didn't know them because its the truth she said ok thanks. The second time they were looking for the same people and when i told them i didn't know them she cussed me out and then hung up.

I answered the first time (I always answer so that I can get telemarketers to take me off their list, I'm DNC registered) but nobody was there. It called back about 2 hours later, but I didn't have a chance to answer the phone and they didn't leave a message

I answered and the call hung up.  208 is an Idaho area code, so it appeared normal at first glance.

I have been recieving 2-3 calls a day from this number. I even live in the 208 area code, Idaho. I called Verizon, my cell phone carrier and they had no solution. Their idea was that it was a computer program that is calling me and is able to disguise the number to be 208-000-0000. Frustrating!!!

Receive calls from this number at least once a day.  Don't answer but want to know if anyone else gets them too.

Thanks for your post.  I had never seen the +44 before the # and was really puzzled.  I guess we don't have enough telenuisances in North America, now they are calling from overseas.

If you have 44 before the number, the source is probably London, UK.
44 is the country code for the UK, 208 is the area code for outer London.
(Adding this pseudo-report so poor Idaho residents don't get phoned back).
