I have been messing with the guy and actually got him to call me. He couldn't speak a bit of English saying he is going to add a extra 1500 that I have to send to the western union shipping agent. Told him sure as soon as payment clears. Lol

Yep been texting me about 97 Honda Accord we have on craigs list. Saying he would send by a courier aand pay pal me the money. Told him/her by the time I go set up a paypal account and then wait for weeks for the money to clear the car would most likly be sold by then. Funny above the one guy sent stuff to police instead of to the (buyer-SCAMMER)

Tried to by my horse! It sounded shady so I brushed them off & then checked on line about the #. Crazy what people try to get by with!

Caller text me saying his name is Torres Glen and inquired about my motorcycle for sale that I posted on Craislist. He asked questions about condition and so forth, which sent up a red flag immediatley. My motorcycle only has 80 miles on it and is in (new) mint condition.

I decided to check this site and bingo! He's tried this before. I figured I would give him a bogus PayPal account.

He tried "sending" money to me but could not get the account to transfer money. After about several text messages back and forth, I convinced him to give me his PayPal address so I could send him an invoice. He sent me a PayPal address, so I forwarded that to the Police instead of sending an invoice from my real PayPal account.

Just posted an add for my car and he txt me. Thanks guys for having this forum up!

Thank god I looked this number up and found out this was a scammer! I thought it was too fishy that he didn't want to see pics of the car I was selling

This was a text at mid-night for craiglist item I had for sale extremely persistent. Wanted my paypal info then asked for personal e-mail address.  He must think everyone is stupid except him. And yes gave the name Torres. Glen. Don't reply to: 208-495-4055.

Got a text from this number about my Craigs List posting--decided to chk out the number online--thanx for this info--Yep--turned out to be a scammer..I was ready for him when he texted me back...tries the whole "I am putting the money into PayPal right now--give me your Paypal account" s*&t.... I hate these people...
