Received a call from this number every day this week (5 days in a row) no messages left. When you call it back it says "this number is temporarily unavailable"

Thanks for the info! I got a call, too. I live in Montreal, Quebec. I wasn't home at the time, but the message left for me was that "Liliana" was calling on behalf of "Scott McGillivray," and that she would try again later. I'm curious what this is all about...

Hm... seems this has been going around.  Montreal, QC here, same number, similar issue whereby even as I answered, they just hung up.  It always amuses me when people are unwilling to reveal themselves... "Secrecy breeds suspicion" after all.  This was also to my cell, which gives the impression that they're just cycling through numbers half at random.

They call, perhaps twice a week, never a message.  Live in Ontario.  Seems like a large number of Canadians are targeted.

I got a call from these guys. No message left. I find it strange. They called my cell phone. I am in Gatineau, Qc, Canada....

I just got a call from this number also. but when you type in the (1) for area code the number doesnt even get through/????? i live in Van BC...When i do get the chance to talk to them i will tell them to F off or sure :)

Got a call for my wife, kept repeating same thing. Wanted to speak to her.
Went to seminar with her 2 days ago. Real estate seminar! will check some more.

I live in BC and got a phone call from this number.  I tried calling it back and it said the number is temporarily unavailable.  I think its a scam or telemarketer.

They've been calling my cell phone for 2 weeks now and not leaving messages.  Maybe it was a coincidence, but the last call caused my phone to lock up.  I had to take out the battery to get it to work again.

I too have a cell phone but once I see too many scammers calling I change my number.  If everyone did this the service providers would be forced to start protecting their clients and find away to stop scammers from bothering us.   Yes, it's a nuisense, but eventualy the amount of scam callers will be reduced in numbers.  The problem is, scamming is legal, just companies drummiing up business.

One other thing I tried but didn't work well was tell the caller that the person they are asking for for has passed away.  I used a whistle a few times too, that didn't work either.  Perhaps if everyone used one it would.  They wouldn't be able to hire anyone to man the phones.  

I get at least 50 email scams every day.  I tried blocking but they change their addresses so you get the same company coming back again and again.

Got a call from this number for three consecutive days now when I was not home and they wouldn't leave message ... another scam me thinks! Guys be aware of these people. cheers!!

same here...208-643-0363...let's all reverse phone them with our FREE long distance services & start 'hounding' the F*CK outta these morons!...rrrrrr...problem with VOIP boys n girls...everyone can now hide behind some other 'fake' area code all over frigin NA...I'm from the TO area above The 49th & these MF's just called my cell # that is blocked & supposed NOT listed?!...& I NEVER GIVE IT OUT TO ANYBODY except friends n family...so, how these MF's got my cell# is my new quest! ;)-

Got the call, they already had all my info incl home address from 8 yrs ago. They want me to attend some real estate sales seminar, and told me they're sending me a camera and some books.  Smells like scamonella to me.  They tried to pressure me to give a name of someone I thought would be interested in what ever it is they were trying to sell me.  Told them I had no friends.

got a call from this number -its listed in Idaho- probably a telemarketer.
