If they can "Hook" just one sucker a day for several thousands of dollars it's worth it to them. There are people and especially older people who give up their info to anyone on the phone. People get ripped off daily by these scum and they continue to do it because they can. Your Federal Government (FCC and Fed prosecutors) haven't done enough to bring these people to justice. Of course when they (the Feds) spend all of that time and money catching them and prosecuting them, the Federal Courts give these scum a year in prison and they're out in six months applying for new phone numbers to start scamming people again. Give them ten years with no parole and see if they come out and do it again!!
As for me?.....I'd chop their God damn hands off!

Numbers: 208-679-6017.......231-805-6841....and...938-223-4720 are all spammer numbers. Get them blocked on your cell phones. They call both of our cells daily. These cell companies don't do enough to stop this and of course the FCC is sitting on its thumbs too. The cell providers like your monthly payment but in these cases, forget you are customers with a problem. There is a LOT more they could do like give you INSTANT ability to block ANY number that comes in with the push of a button (or two) on your cell phone. Rather, they want you to go on line and have to go through several windows before you can get to where you need to be to set up the blocking. And even after all of that, they'll only let you block the calls for a few months at a time then these idiots are right back in your face again! The Feds should make these unresponsive cell companies fix this CHRONIC problem.....it's BS!

I received a call from this number 2 days ago, I answered it and it says Karen from consumers law and she goes on to say more I hung up.I called the number back and the number is no longer in service. I had received a call from the same telemarketer today but with a different area code. I get these calls every other day from the same telemarketer using different area codes.

You are so right. They are not going to stop harassing people so we may as well go off on them and tell them every sick/justified thing you want to do to them from torture, in there case punishments, to snuffing.

I've noticed that they keep calling but rarely actually pick up  anymore.  i like to think the abuse i hurl at them was a bit effective.  i'm sure the stuff i said did ruin their hour.  it was actually one of my favorite stress relief methods but, now that they stop picking up, i guess i won?  too bad, because i really did enjoy just being able to say anything that came into my sick mind!!  :-)

Received a call and this guy was talking about how much he hates minorities and how he likes to beat women.  When i asked him to stop he started talking about his boyfriend and how excited he is to go to his elementary school graduation.  Also, asked me if i know of any meth dealers because he was running low and needed a pick-me-up.  I only wish i knew some meth dealer to get the guy his fix.

Called 2 days ago, and I did my verify by answering the phone, and saying nothing. A real person calling you says your name. Guy with a Jamaican accent says hello I don't answer he hangs up

Tired of receiving phone calls from numbers I do not recognize - usually do not answer. Thought I would check this one out.  Is there any way I can block these calls.  Usually on my cell phone but also on my home land line (which I also don't answer).  I am on a no call list for both my cell and land line so why do I keep getting these.  If I do answer by mistake, no one is there.  Of course, they leave no message. Have gotten these in the middle of the night and usually do answer since I can't tell the number it is coming from on that phone and think it possibly could be an emergency.

Best advice to cut down on the number of calls you receive is to either block the numbers or press reject as soon as the phone rings. Do not answer and do not let your voice mail pick up. By rejecting the number their system thinks it called a dead number.

Received a call from this number this morning @ 944 am.  I did not answer this time as I knew it was from the "credit card scammer".  Every mo it's a new phone number calling w/ the same old msg.  Sometimes they change the number up every couple of weeks.  Uggghhhh!!!!  Such a pain in the a***!!!  What good does it do to have a "Do NOT Call List" if they can just circumvent the damned thing.

It is important to keep up the pressure even though nothing seems to be getting done, or else the government will just sit back and claim they are doing a good job since there are fewer complaints. call from 208 679 6017.  I didn't answer. No message left.  I have been receiving calls for over a year. Various numbers not always the same.  It started over a year ago.  The first 3 or 4 times I answered and once got a voice.  It was lowering credit card interest rates.  I then starting not answering.  Never a voice message.  I then googled the number to see if it is a legit call.  When they first started I would get one or two calls a day.  Now I may go for 3 or 4 days with no calls and then they start up every day again.

Call received. No message left. Didn't call back to find out who it was.

Tired of all of these credit card calls. You losers really need to get a real job and stop trying to commit fraud.

I keep getting a call from this number and there is no one on the other end. I call back and it says that this number is not in service. How can that be?
