Called twice, no response when I said "hello". I called back and left a message for the A$$ Clown to call me back.  I'm still waiting.  Best suggestion I have is to pay them a personal sort of visit the next time you're in Vegas. A truly 'personal' visit if you know what I mean.  Brass knuckles and perhaps a blue plastic barrel you could easily hide in a deep hole in the desert.  It would almost be too good for them.  I'll let you know if the A$$ Clown calls me.  I won't hold me breath waiting though.

My suggestion is to make a phone call to Doug 'The Head' who will pay them a personal visit.  It's hard to make spam calls with 8 broken fingers and two missing thumbs.  (Doug likes to make the damage permanent by using a hammer instead of the usual tools) You know what they say about Vegas....what happens in V, stays in V.
Seriously, just keep on reporting them, somebody in the FTC will eventually get the message and make them move on to another state, open shop under a new name and number and start F/N calling us again!

Got the same recording as others reported. Did not press anything or leave a message. Am filing with the FTC, I have a form from the FTC re a call made to my cell phone, so don't be discouraged, it may take awhile but the FTC does follow up.

A bit of information to all who read these boards.  I ran across a small way to get back at these telemarketers.   *57   when you star 57 the last number that calls you, it will send a trace on that number.  It will cost you $ 1.50  there is a message and it is all explained, but after 3 traces an investigation into this number will be started. a buck fifty is a small price to get these guys.  Hope this helps!

Call to us on a small business phone line reserved for customers. Started out as an automated sales message. I hit 0, which gave me a recorded man's voice saying that it was an invalid option and to try again, so I hit 1. Message said I was being transferred to someone who could help me, please hold. Woman's voice picked up, gave her name very quickly and mumbly and said, "How can I help you grow your business?" I asked her to repeat her name and she said it was Maria. I asked the name of her company. She got a very rude tone of voice and said "How can I help you?" I said "I need to know the name of your company, before I know how you can help me." She said U.S. Capitol. I asked her how I can get removed from their list. She abruptly and in a snotty tone of voice said, "I'm taking you off the list right now,have a good day," CLICK...she hung up immediately.

I too don't believe that many are prosecuted for violating the "do not call" list restrictions. More than likely, the whole "do not call" list was about getting Americans to voluntarily place their name on a government cross-reference list. Didn't it happen not long after 9/11? Coincidence? I think not.

Don't know why a carpet cleaning business from this area code would call a home in Florida.   Are they listening in on private phone conversations?  My friend is in Las Vegas, I'm home sitting I suppose and recieved that call.  A little scary to think that not only is "big brother" watching over us, but pretty much anyone who knows how to aquire information through technology.

Am on DNC list as well.  I got the recorded pitch about carpet cleaning and pressed "1" to schedule an appointment.  Someone came on the line saying "How Can I Help You."  

I said "WHAT?"

And she hung up.  At least I wasted some of their time. Now I'll report as a DNC violation.

Carpet cleaning telemarketer.  As soon as I said that I was on a DNC list and that they were in violation of federal law, they said nothing and hung up.

I haven't answered this number though they've called several times.  Finally I did answer today.  I went ahead and pushed 1 and the woman told me about a deal on carpet services.  I told her we already had the carpets done and she said that actually she was more of a carpet muncher.  I told her I didn't think we needed that service either and she asked me to put my wife on the phone.  They talked for about 40 minutes and my wife hung up and said she needed to go down town and not to wait up for her.  I think I will wait up for her anyway and find out just what's going on so I can report back.  Any similar experiences out there?

I just got a call from these clowns and pressed #1.  The operator answered and told her I was on the DNC list and she said, "Great... are you voting for Obama?"  I told her I didn't want any carpet cleaning and she said, "How about a BJ."  I didn't know what that was so I gave her my address and she said she'd come over and explain.  Now I've really got her and can tell her a thing or two.

Maybe these comments will help prosecute them.
I believe the FTC is the regulation department for this.
I will report them to FTC if happens again.

Received a call press 1 to speak to rep when I pressed 1 I asked for a name of the rep on the other end and a call back number to have call returned and was given 631-960-7178.  When we called the ASOC 702-520-1163 I asked it his was proper business conduct and was hung up on.  This is being reported to FCC.  As I was writing this response I received yet another call from same company.  Truly a violation.  This second caller was Joseph Shane.  Asking if I wanted business funding.

they just called us at our store we don't even have carpet! we are also on the dnc list. i called them back to tell them we are on the dnc but i got a voice greeting saying if you recieved a call from us u are on their customer list to be removed press 1 or if u have a rotary phone wait for the beep and and leave a message. it was an answering machine pressing 1 will not remove you ! so i left a message telling them that if they called us again i was reporting them. @$$ hats

I need these people like a hole in the head.  I can block calls from any number quite easily through my VOIP, but they keep calling from different numbers every week.

I've been getting calls from ASOC  702-520-1163 for weeks. When I do answer the phone, there is either no one there, or I get a recorded message about "does your business want to make more money ...blah blah blah". I have called the number back twice and got a message that if I want my number taken off the calling list to press a number... obviously a ploy. Today I pressed the number to speak to a rep. I told him I wanted my number taken off the calling list and gave him my number. He asked if this was a home or business and I told him both. Then he goes into a speal about don't I want to make more money. Kept telling him to take my number off and then he asks me if I'm married. I told him that had nothing to do with the call and he said he couldn't take my number off until I answered two questions! What a croc! I asked him what the name of their business was and their phone number and hung up. He said it was AmeriCapital which I googled. Nothing about Carpet Cleaning. I don't know what is going on but I'm seething already.
