I received five calls over a two week span. Their recorded message says they can lower your credit card rate, and asks you to press 1 for details or 2 to stop their calls. I have pressed 2  and the voice says "Your number has been deleted."  Wrong! It has had no effect in stopping the calls. Now I just lift the phone and hang up.

These folks have called three times over the past six months. This appears to be phishing or scam material. The area code is supposed to be from Tampa, but the third time the rep told me he was in Atlanta. When I call back the number it is not in service.

"Credit services" (as they identify themselves) begins with a recording tells me my low credit card rates are about to expire, to dial to get more information. When I dial "1", they ask me if I carry a balance on my cards.

When I ask for a call back number, they tell me I'll get a toll-free number as soon as I register for their services. When I ask for a mailing address of their company, they tell me that "for security reasons" they are unable to release that information.

The first two times the rep hung up as soon as it appeared I knew too much. The third time the rep put on his supervisor; both of them appeared oblivious to the fact that they were likely part of a fraud.

They called but didn't leave a message.  If this is a scam, I'm not participating.

Thanks for the heads up "Grumpy in AZ"

Call is recording saying you can lower rate on your credit card, to press one to speak to someone.  When that person answers, thay ask if your are responding to lower your interest rate on your card.   I asked which account they were referring too and they responded "your current Visa and Master Card accounts".  When I asked for the specifics on the account they were referring too they hung up.

Beware this is obvously an attempt to get your account information and rip you off.
