Same number calls my house mid-afternoon.  It has the 44 in front of it which is the UK's country code.

What's the number for the DNC/

Of course, directory reverse look-up cannot take the 44 prefix,and says there is no known number as such.  I kept looking for an international reverse to see who this is, but that didn't work either.  44 is the United Kingdom, 208 is the outskirts of London.  That's all I can come up with.  I didn't answer.

FYI, the number "44" is the country code for Great Britain...
I got a call from 208-872-6680 yesterday. Wasn't home! I am on the Nat'l. Do not call list...little good it does.

Got one this morning... caller ID came up "out of area"... b*****ds didn't have the guts to leave a message. So, I went to the DNC and filed a complaint.

The original number that the DNC asks for is your own to see if you are registered on the do not call list. If they see that your number is on the do not call list, they have you put the annoying caller on the next page. I only know because I made the same mistake myself the first time (I put in the annoying caller number instead of where they made the call to.) I don't know if the DNC does any good or not but I went ahead and made a complaint and I hope everyone else does too.

I got the same damn annoying call. It's like all of the rest of the 800/ 866 & 877 scammers. I reported it to the DNC list. The DNC list is a bunch of crap. Area code comes back to Idaho. Most likely a fake #! I never bothered to call back or *69.

This number was on my caller id too, they didn't leave a message though.

When I actually press 1 to speak with someone, they do not answer.  I keep the speakerphone on, waiting for a response.

Tried to call tel #, the call "cannot be completed as dialed, check the # and dial again.  045T"

According to two web sites that would tell you where an area code -- prefix combination are located:  http://www.jcsm.com/oneacx.asp and http://www.thedirectory.org/pref/
, there is no such combination.  One of the two says that telemarketers often use technology to get fake phone numbers to show up in caller IDs.

IT'S THEM AGAIN!!!!  Once or twice a week for about two months now from this same number, 208-872-6680.  "This is your last chance, press 1 to speak to a representative..."  We are supposed to be on a no-call list, but little good THAT seems to be doing!

I asked how to get off their call list as I get these calls almost daily, from all different phone numbers.

She said if I gave her my phone number, they would remove me.  Before giving it to her, I asked "Will it remove me from ALL of your call lists because..."

She hung up before I could finish.  

These people are beyond abusive!  They need to be shut down!

Called me today at 7:38 central time. This number had a numer in front of it, 44-208-872-6680, I don't know what the 44 is for. To throw you off when they call I guess. These people left no message, etc!!
