got a call from this #, they did not leave a message so I guess it wasn't important enough. BTW Jerry, groups soliciting donations are not required to adhere to the Do Not Call list. But since they hung up after you mentioned it, that tells me they probably aren't who they say they are at all. Especially Cops or people working for them would all ready know the laws.

Call received from 209-220-1911 claiming to be raising funds for some police orginization.
Scammer hung up rapidly when I confronted him with this number being on a "do not call list".

Claiming to be part of CA Police Youth League asking for $ donations. Anybody else receive this call? I'd normally would contribute to groups like this and want to find out if they are legit.
