TIMESHARE

This is a telemarketing firm. If you already owned a Timeshare program then you know how the business goes. If you dont, then you can handle this in 2 ways.
1st - BLOCK the number. But if you already  received a call then SOL coz your number is now circling around the telemarketing database. - yeah !? this SUCKS!!
2nd - FREEBIES .. your number is worth on average about $300. Companies who hired these PESTS firms already invested $ on you before you even pick up the phone.  
NOTE: 2-3 hrs dealing with BS and hassling sales people = FREE 2 nights stay on a 3-4 star hotel, grab bag items(pens, mugs, hats, shirts, etc) and sometimes even buffet for two. Now, if you know how to hassle yourself, you might even get away with Show Tickets too.
Remember ... they already receive $300 for your time to be there. Make aure you get paid right !!!
All you have to do is say YES on the phone and say NO NO NO NO once you're there.
The challenge is to get paid more than what they spent for your number.  

Just received call. Didnt pick up. They left no message

Just got a call from this company.  I did not answer the 1st time so they called again & again so finally I answered. I was bored with a cold so since I couldn't do anything else I talked to the guy & agreed to everything...the trip etc., wanted to see what would happen. It was the funniest thing ever. I asked so many questions & asked him to repeat every one. Towards the end I stepped it up...too funny. Lol

I was sitting at home and I got a call from this number. seeing it was from California, where I live, I thought it would e someone I know. I picked it up and heard a lady with a strong accent. I couldn't really understand her but I could hear that she was saying something about getting a trip or destination. I told her she had the wrong number, and she told my number to me out loud. One if the digits sounded a little different, so I said she had it wrong. Because of her accent, she might've been right. She hung up after. Defenenatly a scam

Got one from "Allysia." Vacation. Scam. I wish they would pick up so I can say that I'm interested.

Just save the number to your address book under, "DO NOT ANSWER" then if it rings look at your phone, it will tell you.

Got a phone call from them telling me I won a all inclusive vacation in ontario california... what a scam. hung up on them right away.

Got a call from "Great Destinations".  I hung up.

Just got a call from this number- let it ring..did not answer and no voice mail left from this unknown number! i checked here..and see that with NO SUPRISE it's another telemarketing scam!! what BULL and waste-of-time-, some folks need to get a real job/life and not bother others who do!! they will not like -what i have to say (words) if i choose to answer!

why are they calling cells phones late at night

Called my cell, then hung up before voice mail picked it up. I called back got put on hold for a agent. Pretty sure it is a scam. Blocked the number.

This is another one of the numbers that called me and had the same voice and each time he called he would claim to be a different person each time..... I mean dude your name cant seriously be "Davey Jones", "Ben Franlin", or "Samuel Jackson"....smh pick better fake names before u try to scam people......However he wont stop calling even after I told him to quit. Hes called me a total of 10 times and I think there should be some kind of easy way to file a harrassment charge on people like this . I am just frustrated.

Got a call from this number Reyes to sell me destination vacations. Told her not to call again  as some as I told her I was on a no call list SE hung up.

i got a call from the stupid 209-227-2911 while i was on the phone with my boyfriend and i call it back and all it does is play classical music and says your call is very important to us please stay on the line for the next available agent and it did it for like 5 mins  

Got a call from this number at 7:45 pm. Some person told me that I had won either a trip to vegas or a cruise. I asked how they got my number and at first they wouldn't tell me. After I pushed it, they said that most likely a friend or relative had referred me and had already gotten their "gift". I asked who had referred me but they wouldn't answer. They then said that they were associated with some airlines, cruise ship companies, and hotels, so I asked which ones they were associated with. Again, they kept stalling and trying to sell me something or whatever and wouldn't answer. The person then said that this was their first time on the job and yada yada yada so I asked to speak to someone who had more experience or perhaps a supervisor or manager. At that point, they said good day and hung up.

If you are motivated, you can really mess with these guys if you want to.  =)

Got a call on my cell from this number today. When I asked how she received my number and she told me one of my family members gave her my number after they won there free vacation. I just hung up on the lady because I knew that was a lie.

Just got a call from "Jordan" at Great Destinations travel.  I told him I was on the do not call--he said I was being invited as VIP to an opening, yah sure, and that he was not selling anything.  Second lie.  I told him to remove my number from the list.

I had been planning a vacation lately and so there must have been some cookie that caught me even though I have albine Do Not Track Me software.  BARF.

Told them not to call me back and take me off their listing. They have called almost everyday.

IT IS A SCAM. DONT ANSWER IT!!!

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2013. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. PEOPLE NEED TO REPORT THIS NUMBER. THE LOSER NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE.

I got a call from 1-209-227-2911 and found this website. I called and got a recording that repeated "your call is very important to us. please stay on the line for the next available agent" No company name just that recording.

Got a call from a woman claiming she worked for some company in San Antonio, the only reason I answered was because I clearly saw the Cali area code and thought it might be work, Im from SA so that's pretty creepy.. anyways.. tried to tell me I won a free vacation and it was a couples vacation and then proceeded to ask me if I had a partner and then when I went silent, no doubt in shock at her audacity.. she corrected herself to ask me if I was married. How do I get rid of this s***?

GOT A CALL SHOWING ON CALLER id FROM 209-227-2911, BUT OF COURSE DID NOT ANSWER IT.  gOOGLED THE # AND SWA MANY "OTHERS" STATING THE SAME

just got a call- said they were  a company called Direct Buy out of MD (my phone numbers area code)
Said id won an android lol whatever
i entertained them with my own accent as i gave them fale names and an ex boyfriends telephone number and email . LMFAO ! Thanks scammers! yall made my day! Happy harrassing!

Got a call from this number a few mins ago, said they are doing promotions for Direct Buy and asked me to check their website directbuy.com
And of course, told me that I won a vocation to vegas.

A Indian accent guy talked to me and another wierd accent women claimed to be the supervisor talked to me later.

I gave them fake info and they kept asking me many survey questions to extend the call. I wonder if this is some kind of scam that when you talk to them on phone, you pay for them?

I hang up when they say they want a third guy to talk to me to further confirm my info.
