This number has been calling my mother, now they are calling two of my uncles as well. The really scary thing for us is we live out of state, but our hometown is Modesto,CA. Modesto is area code 209. I'm pretty sure this is a scam, they are phishing for any kind of info.

I keep getting calls from a 209-233-8860. Sometimes 2-3 times a week, sometimes they hang up and call right back. I don't answer the calls, however have tried calling it back. It goes to a voicemail that can't accept messages.

I have received at least 10 calls from this number at different hours of the day, even Sunday morning.  I have caller ID and never answer calls from people or numbers I don't recognize.  Caller ID just says MERCED, CA and I don't know anyone in California so I just let it ring.

This guy has called me no less than 10 times.  I have asked him to stop at least 5 times.  I live in Florida and he keeps calling between 11:00 and 12:00 pm.

Calls frequently and never leaves a message.  I called back and get a voice message that say the mail box is full. caller ID says "Merced California"

i have recieved mutiple calls from this number they will not stop calling i finally answered and they hung up after i had yelled at them .

has called repeatedly, i have taken to fully screening calls on my phone, it all goes to voice, emails me ones with number ident so i can keep written record of the calls time and duration on the message. mostly they have lasted only 20 seconds or so, but when i actually answered one by mistake, it was telemarketing at its worst, little english, mispronounced name which always sets me off.. absolute wrong time of day for anything legitimate,  I AM ALSO ON A DO NOT CALL LIST

Home improvement services. Calls repeatedly - often every hour. Noise in background like a call centre - delay in response after pickup suggests automatic dialer. One time I picked up and the rep never realized a live person had picked up and continued talking to another individual. Finally asked to be removed from call list. Caller politely immediately agreed but I have still received calls from this area code.

Press star while the guy Is blabbing on the recording then hit 1234#. You get to hear everyone cussing the douche. My buddy figured it out

I got a two calls from this number. I called back because it is a local number and didn't suspect any scams or telemarketers would have a local number. I got a recording that said,

"Hi, if you got a call from this number and are calling it back, i want you to know it is a major scam and you should report it to the local authorities. If you would like to reach the voicemail, press *, and the password is 1234. I hope you scam the scammer."

Got a call twice from 2092338860 and 4 times from 10010001000. Both of these belong to the same psycho

Just got a miss call from this number and the guy said there is a major scam and I need to contact the local authority. Call him back but connect to automatic message saying I should give him my contact, which is nonsense. I think he is the scam he was talking about lol

I have received several calls from these people trying to sell home improvements.  The last was from a man with a Hindi accent.  The address for the phone is 2221 M St., Merced, CA.  The man confirmed he address for me.  But 2223 is the Merced County Planning and Development building.

Just got a call from this number. No one said anything. Phone said call was from Mercer, CA

some home improvement." I asked him how did he get my info, he said he was "Online Survey" he had most of my info including my full name, cell (obviously) and that I live in a house.

I could barely understand the guy with lots of background noise and thick accent.  He knew my last name and asked something about home improvement.  Told them to remove my number from their list.

when i answer it just says goodbye

Called and confirmed his My last name, and asked to confirm a address.. And Hung up, Did he ask anyone elses address?

Telemarketing call, selling home improvement services. Caller spoke heavily-accented English and took him three calls to figure out how to say hello.

Just got a phone call from this number. Got tired of them call me all the time and decided to answer the call. Was not very nice to them and told them to remove mt munber from the data base. Gues they have'nt done it yet. Its been over a month or so since I last spoke to them. Guess its time to take it to the next step.

guy just called at 9:47pm and said he was from lowes. i hung up on him and looked on here. glad i did!

We got a call from sounds like the same guy. Said he was from Lowe's.

Persists in calling, never identifies oneself.
