3 F'n times a day. Getting irritated

They called 3 weeks ago and were basically rude that initially I said I did not want the paper. Then offered a Sunday Only that was reasonable. Then - they kept me on hold for 12 minutes to verify my address and phone number. I should have hung up as they were SO very rude the whole time, like it was a real priviledge for me to be on their list. Then the paper did not come when promised. I called the Monday after and they did not have me as an active account and I asked to never be called again. Now a week later they are calling 2 x a day and no one is there when I answer - the auto caller is ahead of the real bodies. I have call rejection and have activated. On the rare occassions I need a paper or want the coupons I can hit the local gas station with much less hassle. I peruse headlines on line and really don't need what they are offering and they wonder WHY print is so out of vogue??

This number keeps pestering me.  I have received 5 calls from them within the 24 hours.  I thought it was over when they hadn't called for a month (after I submitted the number to the no call registry), but I guess not.  I don't call back, I never have.  More than anything, the calls are annoying.

I've been getting calls from them at least daily for the past month on my cell phone, which is not listed. They call all times of the day and on weekends. I finally saved the number as 'telemarketer' in my phone and never answer it.

This number has called me numerous times, I have yet to answer it. They have not left amessage so it must not be that important.

I called the number and they said it is a marketing company that sells newspaper subscriptions across the country.

I got a call. Iooked up NAC and it came up with Network access control. But when i called back it said a newspaper subscritption.

I called the number back, press 0 and your able to leave a message and not receive calls from them again.

Newspaper Agency Corp- trying to sell subscriptions.

Have called repeatedly for the last three weeks at odd hours. Very early in the morning or very late at night. NEVER leaves a message. When I answered the one time nobody was on the other line. I am on the do not call list and find it very annoying...

and a 3rd time. Answered that time and of they were trying to sell me a newspaper subscription. Told them I didn't appreciate being called 3 times in a row and this late at night.

Just called me twice in a row and it is 8:45 pm. I told them several months ago to remove me from their list. Guess they only take you off for a little while and they don't care what time of day it is.

NAC also stands for Newspaper Agency Corporation, which is the parent company of the newspaper in my area......thought I'd throw that out there too.....

just filed with the FCC. if the company is not closed for improper practice, I will be filing a suit against them at this point.

to stop this wee all need to keep reporting them to the F.C.C. And kep buging them until they get off there lazy behinds and do there job to end the acts of criminalism that these people keep doing to us.  Go to  and file the complaint

I've been getting this phone number called everyday. I thought I'd Google it and, lo and behold,it looks like I'm not the only one. I NEVER answer unless I know the phone # or I'll call back on a voice mail. Next time they call, I'll probably answer for the heck of it and say "Pizza Hut. May I take your order?"...lol

NAC means Newspaper Agency Corporation which is the combination of Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News.

I'm so sick of this one...they call all the time from different numbers. It's media one or some company linked to the Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News, or Daily Herald. If you call back you can ask to be taken off the list but they say that it might take up to 30 days.

So annoying!

I received a call from this number asking if I would like to continue receiving my paper.  Why do you outsource your subscription renewal calls if you don't ask them to give you feedback on the calls they make?  Now I'm supposed to pay $20 for papers that I didn't want and that I told them I didn't want.

I think we all know that newspapers are dieing anyways.  The internet is so much better for news.  My advice is get on the internet now and use your money to build an internet enterprise.  That also means that you need to stop annoying your potential customers with outsourced collection agencies.

They call me 2 times a day, everyday, for almost 3 weeks now. I call the number back and it is an answering machine that says to leave a message if I want to subscribe to my local paper. Or leave a message if you want your number removed from the list. Please allow 30 DAYS! for removal????? I leave a message to remove my number, but apparently they were not kidding about the 30 days because they still call.

This keeps calling me, about 3-6 times a week.  I'm gonna call and rip them a new one tomorrow.

I am also on the do not call list.  how did this number become public?

i have received a call from 209-320-9651 at about 830 pm on Thur. Oct. 14 2010.  NO ONE has this number this was enstalled for computer use only.  No one left a message .

This is Media One, they sell subscriptions to magazines/newspapers in your local area.

I am on a do not call registry.  I believe the penalty is $10,000 per occurrence .  I have 5 unwanted calls from them.  Does anyone have the number to report these infractions and help me collect.  They are a newspaper collection agency and they are trying to collect money that is not past due.

I got a taped message, saying they're a marketing service for our local newspaper.

I am surprised that someone at the Deseret News or Salt Lake Trib would not know what NAC stands for: Newspaper Agency Corporation, the company that handles the Deseret News and Salt Lake Trib joint operating agreement.

My problem is I am getting the calls at work.  I was not at this job when I signed up for the paper.

This number 2093209651 called me this morning. My caller ID said NAC. She claimed to be calling on behalf of Salt Lake Tribune (a newspaper) and said we were 9 dollars passed due and needed to pay 24 dollars and would I please pay today? She asked me twice and I looked at our statement and said we are paid through 4/23/10 and weren't passed due so why would she telling me I was behind? She told me I needed to call customer service for that and hung up. I immediately called the Salt Lake Tribune and verified. She was unaware of who NAC was or that number and would pass it on to the District Manager.
