They keep calling me, too. It is "Chad" with "Children's Charities" asking for money. Yesterday he said he was from the Police Association.

When my caller ID showed this number I let it go to voice mail.
I do this for all numbers I do not reconize. For some reason
I had a funny feeling about the call. I am thankful that I did.
The other comments listed here told me my gut feeling was right.

they called my house last night asking for a donation and then called again tonight even though i clearly said NO THANK YOU the night before.

I don't blame you at all...they just called my number too and i was in the middle of a call on my cell so I didn't answer but they left no message and when i looked up their number I see this message board...
thats terrible how they interrupted your medical emergency....I know too well how long it takes for Dr's offices to return your call...and yours was a very important matter...we should really bring this up to that dept if we had a way to contact them....thats an invasion of privacy and also like trespassing when they infringe on our time with our phone...

They called past 8pm at night and have earned our eternal wrath.  We have a very sick person we were tending to and expecting an emergency medical callback. WHen this twit gratuitously utilized our number they caused a bigger medical emergency. One, their call collided with the callback for medical instructions we were desperately expecting. Two, we had to wait much longer to get help, Three, the person was not attended to when all this crap happened. When I find out who did it, I'm going to see if I can sue them for wrongful interference of medical care almost leading to death. If it is a police detp related SHAME ON THEM.

called today at 7:34 pm I answered the phone... nobody there... i hate this crap... don't you know i'm a very busy person and don't have time for stupid phone calls!

This number shows up in my caller id along with another one (209)473-8558, that also shows up as CPYC..California Police Youth Charity.  Yet when I google CPYC it shows the information below and no number from the 209 area code.  They don't leave any message and they start in on the telemarketing garbage if you answer.  Apparently hanging on them doesn't stop the repetitive calls, neither does having your name on the DNC list either.  Time to turn them in.

got a call at 4:09pm -- looked up the number and found this site -- I will put them on my dnc list.

They call, I answer, they say nothing!  Three calls, consecutive days, around the 7:00 o'clock hour.

Got calls around 10 AM on Saturday March 11th 2009. They were all hangups.

No info.  Just keeps calling.

No message.  They hung up at start of my answering machine message.

Called at 5:50PM and hung up before machine picked up.  Has called several times before.

Phone rang at 9PM. No answer when I picked up.

Didn't answer and they left no message.

They called my phone everyday for 2 weeks. I finally answered the call and they were asking for donation from the San Juanquin police association. I hung up and they haven't called back since.
