got a call, no voicemail, called back, voicemail not set up.

It says the person has a voicemail box that hasn't been setup yet.

Got a call from this number today.  Was a recording telling me it was a courtesy call and "final notice" regarding my credit card debt.  I have been having a lot of telemarketing calls since I changed my # several months ago so I stayed on the line to get more information on the company to report them.  

I dialed 1 and a representative came on the line.  He gave me a shpeal about lowering credit card debt and asked me how much I had in debt.  He said he was with "consumer and cardmember services" for all of the major credit card companies.  Yeah right.  I informed him I was on the do not call registry and to put me on their do not call list.  He told me he could not do that because he was "not a telemarketer." I hung up and filed a complaint with the FTC.  

I have been getting so many scam calls linked to a company called WCA, I wouldn't be surprised if this had something to do with them.

Something to to with last chance to get a credit card, (NOT INTERESTED) I'm listed on National No Call list

I finally called the sheriff, they have came out and taken a report.. There are 30 calls from this number on my caller ID. The sheriff and deputy both dialed the number and had a voice message of voice mail not setup. The great thing is, just as they were leaving, another call came in, I let the sheriff answer it, dead silence again.. He said he willput a stop to it....    :)

I got a call from this number. Recording saying it was my last chance to have my credit card interest reduced to 6%, press1 for rep. I did. Someone claiming to be from "Account Services" asked for credit debt info. Being skeptical, they passed me on to the next person in authority. Still doubtful, I was again passed on to next person. After at least 30 minutes of high pressure to give them $800, which I refused to do, they agreed to call me back tomorrow. They claim to save a minimum of $3,000 of my credit card debt by negotiating with my credit card accounts to lower my interest rate. Tom Jenkins (so he said) gave the name of the company as first Financial Asset Services. I googled the name and the phone number and apparently it is a scam!

A recording is a stern message which first appears to be my credit card company.  It is a scam to reduce credit card debt.

Like Sandy: a scary-sounding "this is your last chance to lower your credit card interest rate to 6%, press 1" kind of message.

I filed a report at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx . They say they put my report into a database, available to law enforcement, but they don't guarantee anything will be done, and given the prevalence of this kind of call it's pretty clear to me that they don't do anything.

I put the call type as "Telemarketer" below, but it's clearly "Attempted Fraud".

Called and hung up.

This person calls and hangs up.  Won't leave a message.
When we call the number back, the message says, "I'm sorry, but the person has a voice mail box that has not been set up."
This has to stop.

Called last night and didn't answer when picked up.

The number is out of california...most of these are cell phone numbers, i have been keeping a notebook of them. I'd like to know why the FTC doesn't enforce the  DO NOT CALL REGISTRY? on these scam artist companies.

Also just received a call from that number   I said Hello, hello but they hung up.  Very annoying.

Called TWICE, left a credit scam voicemail....someone do something please?!?!

No Message, called back and no voice mail set up. talked to a friend and he said they are a credit card scam looking to steal your Identy

Got a call from this number and when I answered it was a recording saying that is was my final notice to lower my credit card debt. The number on caller id says wireless customer, no name. The recording said to push one to talk to customer service but when I pressed one the phone went dead. These calls are anoying and I wish there was a way to put a stop to them.

Got a call AGAIN from this number.  Can't the phone company block this user?

Something about a final notice for my credit cards.  They called with the same message from 661-910-1759 on Jan 11.  Goons!

I got a call and just picked up and it was completely dead. One day before we had a suspicious van and man come to door. when my husband got to the door he was leaving and he yelled out what do you need? and the man jumped in a green van and left. Very suspicious as we live in a secluded area and are elderly. It may be someone checking to see if we are home.
We were advised not to answer door and be on alert from now on.

Got a call from this number about the same time you did.  Answering machine picked up, they didnt leave a message.
