Received the call but I didn't answer and they don't leave a message.  When they do call and if I am lucky my hubbys home and they try the computer problem and he makes them look like total inept idiots.  Which they probably are.  And also when they called another time and told me about the problem I let them know I don't have a computer or other electronic stuff and they don't know how to act.  It's great!

Received the call - and was the same scam pitch - it is unfortunate how many people fall for this. I work for a company that offers Computer support all across the U.S. and customers have been calling in complaining about these calls. Sad thing is most are elderly and go along with the scam and even pay the asking price. Then midway through the service the customer catches on that it may be a scam and then they call us to have their PC checked for anything that appears suspicious. Just never expected myself to get a call from them. Best thing to do is #1 don't waste your time - #2 Just let them know that you know it is a scam and simply hang up.

First time the man called (heavy accent) he stated that he wanted to talk to me about my windows. I told him to take me off his list that I didn't need new windows on my house.  LOL
Second time he called he said my windows were going to expire on my computer in 2 wks and that my computer wasn't working properly.  Call center noise in the background and by then I knew this was a scam. He me he could give me a licensing number for his business at which point I said don't ever call here again and that he was running a scam!!! Take me off your list NOW and I hung up.

I received a few calls from them in the last few days and it was the same issue. A fast talking guy who did not want to answer any questions with many people talking in the background. All he was interested in was me saying yes to what he was asking. I told him windows is not a company and that Microsoft does not call each of its customers to alert them they are having issues with their computer. If there was a message being sent it would be their system sending me one to let me know something is not right. I keep my system updated and have had no issues with it so yeah I was not going to fall for his BS. The sad thing is there are a lot of people who will do as they ask because they do not know any better.

Have your daughter take ten minutes out of her day to relentlessly call them back and annoy them, that's what I did. Not only do I feel better but they never called again.

This number 209-794-4843 has been calling my daughter's phone every day for more than a week. She knows not to answer a number she doesn't recognize. I got fed up and answered it and it was some guy who sounded like he was from India with a bunch of other voices (can you say boilerroom)  in the background. The only thing I could understand from him was the word "windows" and "computer." I told him to stop calling. I wish I had the time to mess with him like the guy with the Mac, because that's what I have LOL!
I am on the DNC list, but these people don't care. How stupid can they be. They just keep calling the same number over and over and over.

Prank Call
I, too, received a call from this number. A woman with a distinctly foreign accent (India?) called saying she was from Microsoft and that my computer had been sending out error messages and that it would be crashing soon if I did not allow her access to "fix" the errors. I knew she had to be a scammer because my son had recently reformatted my computer and I had installed Panda internet security software, so I just hung up on her and then I noticed a message from Panda saying an intruder was trying to access my wifi network and did I want to allow or deny access? Of course I hit DENY!! Heads up people!! Lots if crooks out there!!

Well - they called back again today, so I answered and played dumb for their 'computer service scam'.
Nice lady with Indian accent explained that she was calling from 'Best Computer Service', and that my computer was at 'high risk'.  I played along and managed to keep first her and then her 'supervisor' on the line for 15 minutes (a new record).  The supervisor had better English but a similar accent.
(I am retired and apparently easily amused.)
I sat down at my MacBook and tried to cooperate with what they asked.
However, they were frustrated by my inability to find a 'windows start' on the screen or a 'windows key'.
When the supervisor finally realized I was on a Mac he explained that they were not licensed to service Macs.
I replied that they obviously know that they are criminal-scum.
They hung up.

Same old scammer scum, new number.
Second time they have called in three days.
Second time seemed like the phone got left off the hook after I answered.  Lots of voices background (boiler-room) and my guy was having a conversation in foreign language (India perhaps?).
US number is probably spoofed for a web-call computer repair scam.

800notes.com:
Please give us the option of 'Scam caller' on the 'call type' pull-down list.
That is the most common type of call that people look up at this site.
Calling them 'telemarketer' is too good for what they are.
