I also just got a call today from this number claiming to be from a Support Company and requesting remote access. What idiot would actually fall for this?

This is a SCAM. They'll ask you to go to a website and provide information which will allow them access to your computer. While there, they'll show you "things" that are wrong and try to convince you they can fix it. Fixing it will make it worse AND allow them access to your computer at the same time. Hang up.

A man claiming to be from "Windows Support" wanted "remote access" to my computer to "show me" that I had malware on my computer. I carried the conversation on for a good 4 minutes, I even asked him "tell me, how do you look at yourself in the mirror everyday knowing you are a FRAUD?", he continued on with explaining to me that I had malware, blah blah. I told him I was reporting the phone number to the FTC and hung up on him.

This is a scam. This number is from someone claiming to be from Microsoft's Support Center. Hang up immediately. For information on the scam, see: http://www.informationweek.com/security/manag ... s-7-f/240005023
