"Holly" left a message, saying "this was the number I was given for ______. Please call back."  The name is my brother's name, he doesn't live w. me. Last 4 digits are 3664.  Spouse listened to the message w. me. We agreed is stinked of scam. Hit delete.

Someone by the name of "Stacey' called from DSC, Inc. They call everywhere including numbers on the Do not call list. They even called cousins of mine that I have not seen in 10 years asking for my address, and phone number. They call on weekends. Apparently I have heard they are a collection agency which may be working for various states agencies. They are being a pain the **s. I refuse to call them. I know that I owe nothing to no one and if I did, would they not have my direct contact number? Of course they would. Some collection companies buy outdated lists from other collection agencies and the will try to milk the dead cow for money one more time since they bought the list.Sometimes they even claim you owe money on a claim you've already paid years ago. So be careful.

same as all above...ie, called my number looking for a neighbor's information. I just hung up.

your a retard you still were a res in VA at the time and therefore owe the taxes think why would they have your social or maybe think and call the state to verify whats going on VA came put liens against wages and bank accounts

Its not a scam I had owed taxes also in LA and DCS helped me take care of them make arrangements to pay

Got a call from this number everyday no messages. finally dcs inc came up. i did and internet search i found out they do work for government agencies. after reading this I called virginia turns out i owe taxes i had no idea about. Turns out they will garnish me if I dont pay. so do your research,its serious. you can end up in trouble with virginia we know how government is.

Caller identifying herself as Stacy Tela said she needed to get hold of a neighbor of mine.  She asked for them by name.  Said she knew them and needed help, and if there was any way I could help her out.  I took her name  and number (209-858-3618), did a quick Google search, and ended up here.  No harm done this time, but people need to be wary.

Got a call from Stacey saying I owe $2,000 plus %60 interest on Virginia State taxes from 1998.  I was an active duty service member, resident of california stationed in Virginia.  As a residential California active duty service member living outside the state of california I don't have to pay state taxes.  They use your social as an account number( I didn't give it to them). IT'S A SCAM!!!!  

I have been calling them back just to hassle them.

called neighbor trying to get my unlisted number, said her name was stacy pira
