just keep getting calls from this guy...i live in s.a. and apparently this guy has been doing this for years...he called 3 times back to back and yhe 3rd time i answered the ph but didnt say anything...i could hear him telling some other people to clean up and police the area, they said yes sir and then he realized the ph wasnt ringing and started  to ask...hello? hello? whoever this guy is..hes a rank high enougg to be giving orders to other soldiers

Received legitimate call from someone I know that works there

I has received two calls from this number (210-221-1111) but I was not able to answer the first two times but a few minutes ago they called again and I got to pick up.It was a lady,probably a receptionist from I believe a Family Care center?And she asked for a Mrs. Ramson,I told her she had the wrong number and that was all.

I'm a university professor and get several calls a day from this number, always when I'm not in the office. They never leave a voice message. I can't imagine why they'd be calling me unless they've got the wrong number and are trying to reach our Veterans Affairs office.

Someone from this number calls my phone at random.  I have never answered and they do not leave a message.

Some military installations utilize truncated systems (routing system)...meaning someone can call from any office on that installation and the number (210 etc) will show up for that perspective military installation.

This number called and left a message saying "Hey Becky, it's Tom, was wondering where you are, usually not late to work like this."  My name is not Becky. I am not working and believe this must be a wrong number. Ill report if it happens again. Thanks for all the prior posts on this number. Made it very easy for me to find the number reversal.

That is true that 2102211111 is a general number from Ft Sam, I just received a call from this number and it was not a prank or scam. Very polite caller inquiring about an ad for something I have for sale...

I got two calls from this number today. After reading these comments it seems to be the main number for Ft. Sam in San Antonio. Anytime someone calls from the base this number comes up. So each call is from a DIFFERENT PERSON. It's not just one person prank calling. Some calls are legitimate wrong numbers. So if you see this number it's someone calling from the base. simple.

This happens because your number is still located in the database of remedy tickets, from Ft. Sam Houston ESD. Your number may still be listed for a VIP.Contact USAMITC, and have them delete the records. It is usually the fault of the unit, who did not properly have your information deleted from the records. My husband called me from this number it is a landline @ Camp Bullis where soldiers deploy to do a 2 week FTX.  The soldiers can not take cell phones into camp so they use this # to call loved ones.  Maybe the creepy callers had the wrong number and thought they were calling a loved one?

It's a reasonable assumption because civilian blue collar workers would be the only people employed at a military medical facility idiotic enough to be making crank calls.

Our VOIP picked up the call. It was just static noise so the message was deleted..

I think its a call coming from Fort Sam Army base... my ex works there and since I blocked her number both home and cell that's the number I seem to get.

I just moved to the same area as FT Sam and I have a friend that works there but he has my number on his phone and so I don't think its him calling me. Besides he would leave me a message. I am going to text him to see if it is him. If it is then i am going to start answering it. I don't know why anyone else on Ft Sam would have my Oregon phone number. So glad I found this sight cause there are a couple numbers that keep calling me. This has helped out alot.

I received a call from this number yesterday. I didn't know the number so I didn't answer. It said I had a voicemail. Which was a women,saying she was trying to reach Sgt (my last name)? That she would text him because she obviously had the wrong number. First of all, who says they will text someone....especially a company etc?..

I had a message on my cell with this number few minutes ago,I answered but it was too late. I checked my voice mail but it wasn't a working number. They didn't have to use this number in the first damn place. People don't have better things to do but to annoy somebody. We are no toys that people want to mess with. got a call from this number at 9:08 pm, Central European Time on my cell phone here in Germany. Didn't answer it, but was curious so I googled it.

First not all civilian employees are part of the federal employees union.

Second caller IDs can be faked easy so the calls where it is the middle of the night creeping people out could be actually coming from some pervert.

I just got a call from this number and the caller asked me for my social security #. I asked him who he was, I think he said 'Shawn Willis' or something like that, and that I'd just left his office.  I didn't give him my social security # but am definitely concerned about the call.

today is may 20th 2009 i see phone calls have been made since as far back as 2006  i got the call yesterday the tell number is one off from a FT SAM Theater...for movies i think or the ft sam INFO DIRECTORY  and when one of these people said it was military then i remembered i used to call these numbers when i was a kid and that...i called also directory assistance or back then OPERATOR was thier title...  im glad someone told me this  could it be a fax machine now that it is disconnected or someone that unplugged the jack? i have had treats on my life and my phone was taken off my chain in a court setting ten a our after DAY TIME i got the phone call from this number answer and no one is there or it went to FILE ON MY PHONE If it is disconnected how does it show up on my caller id AS ME CALLING>>>

Getting the call from morning to around noon. its been a few days now and its really getting old. I thought it was my friends calling from overseas and i was missing it. I looked up the number and found several websites posting the same information . It disturbs me that someone is willing to be so cruel when we have loved ones overseas and hate seeing that we might have missed their call.

The number does remind me of the Operators number on military posts. My husband would connect his line for his morale call that way. This really needs to stop.

got a call 8:00am today.  I wasn't at my desk and they left no message.   Ill post if a get a callback and talk to someone but at least I now know to be cautious.

A call came to my work phone number from 210-221-1111 when I happened to be away from my desk.  We have the ability to see all "missed calls" and I saw that it was this number.  They did not leave a voicemail message.  I did reverse number look up and saw this website, so I'm reporting it.

i just called a number that i remembered as a kid i was right it is ft sam houston the post ARMY BASE IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS i called 221 1211 it is base operator i talked to him operator 13 and he says that if someone calls out of the base it shows up on the callerids as 221 1111 so there should not be a fright if u dont get any more it could be someone playing pranks or like you said it could be a reservist or a newly graduated basic trainee learing ropes

that is the reason it shows up as a disconnected number it is caller id of a TRUNK that the base uses to id where the number is calling from...this exchange is a number way way back maybe as long as the 1940s fort sam houston is a very old army base VERY OLD

A guy just called me from this number asking they had reached someone at AT&T.  I immediately recognized the 221 prefix as being from the military base so I thought it was one of my civil service friends calling me.  But who the heck is this guy????
