Same here. I got called on Sept 12. I didn't answer and got no message...

These @ssholes keeps calling they have some kind of program that fakes their caller ID what we need to do is answer them and get their REAL info

I just got a call from them but missed the number.  If they call again, I'll get their information and post it on the board.  They want money so they should have some contact information in the end to allow us to harass them.

The same thing just happened to me 5 minutes ago.  When I called the number back it said it was disconnected.

I got couple of phone calls from this no. too. The last one I picked up and it had a recorded message about selling car warranty.

Same here, called my cell on Sept 8th at 10:52am. This is nuts! I didn't answer, but I own my cars and don't need a warranty!

Yeppers.... same thing here... no answer... and when I called back disconnected.  Googled the number and like everyone else says it says it's a Ms. Rodriguez.... kinda annoying

My husband and I got a call from this number only a day apart from each other.

Just got a call from 210-227-0692 and there were strange noises on the line.  Has anyone else had this problem?  The first tone was painful and hurt my ear a little when I answered.  It sounded like someone pulling on a taught metal wire.  There were more sounds similar to this, then the line disconnected.

I received a call as well just minutes ago. I did not answer went straight to the web and found your info.

Wow this is crazy same I was on the phone and couldn't get the call and when I called back it was disconnected. I found it to be extremely weird. I hope my home number isn't being used for such scams.....

O just got the call and didn't know who called me as I missed that called being on another line. Then found out that the area code is from San Antanio. Thought let me look if it is some business phone number as I don't have any friends there and got this link in google search. I am not going to call back.

Same thing happened to me just now. They did this a while ago and after I got rid of my car and got a new one I let them have it because my new car still has the warranty. This is ridiculous.

I got a call (missed it) from the same number 9/8/08, googled it and found Melissa.

I received the same thing, random call on my cell phone.  I too looked it up and got Melissa.  I have received alot of calls at home for this car warranty business and they have called using several different local residential numbers.  When I called back those numbers the residents answered and on once case the elderly lady said that she was on her phone when I was called. I dont think it's right that these companies can use whatever they want on the caller ID.

it could be a company selling extended car warranties.  I looked into several last winter.  Or it could be health insurance brokers. I asked for info on health insurance in July and (regrettably) my wife gave them my cell #.

The same thing happened to me...

Car warranty scams. Every week they call and they must be forcing some random number for the caller ID. I called back just a minute after they called my cell, and it was disconnected. Google search has this Melissa Rodriguez      (210) 227-0692 114 Omaha St,  San Antonio, TX 78203

guess I can think Verizon for keeping my number private...
