They called said they were investigating a crime.  They named my brother in law.  They had my cell, my mothers name, my full name, and old cell phone numbers.  They said he committed identity theft with SSN.  They then proceeded to call back several times with different numbers and harass me.  DO NOT TALK TO THEM.

Got the same thing.  Incomplete voicemail wants me to speak to an officer!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is deffently fraud.  Don't return the call.  Police won't help, just forget these calls.......

Just got the same thing for check fraud.  Mentioned an audit of the person's social security number (not mine).  Also had a case number?  Is this even a real thing?
