I was in a car accident yesterday and I just got a call today from Stephanie from "Collision Advisors" and she wanted to send "Alex or Jesse" to my house immediately today so I can sign on some "paperwork" for the "pain and suffering settlement" that I'm entitled to even though I'm not really hurt! She called from cell phone number 210-815-7294 I called back to tell her I don't want anyone coming to my house and she doesn't answer and the voice mail greeting is very simple and she doesn't even mention her so called "Collision Adviser Company" She just says please leave a message a representative will you you back! Shady bi*** ain't fooling me!

Our technicians were just in an auto accident, the same night our tech was contacted by Stephanie 210-328-4935 with Collision Advisors. He said she was very pushy, telling him he needed to go get checked out immediately for injures. He said he wasn't injured. She said that go anyway, because the person who hit him will have to pay for it. He decided to tell me. There was no police report filed, the officer just swapped their insurance information. When I called her insurance company none of her personal information matched the policy holder number she listed. How did Stephanie from Collision Advisors get our drivers information so fast! We now believe the person who hit him and the person who swerved in his lane were working together. Our insurance company was just contacted saying the person who hit our vehicle is now claiming injuries! And filed a claim against us. When at the scene of the accident she never got out and told the officer she was fine, and left immediately after getting our tech's information.

I received a call from SA Collision (San Antonio Collision). The woman's name was Anna. She called my daughter who was the driver of the vehicle at the time and under my insurance policy. She phoned my daughter from (210) 612-7125 and asked to call 999-0918 back. I called her back. Too much phone interference so she called me back from a (210) 420-5873. She wanted to know the place and location of the damaged vehicle to conduct and inspection. She asked if there was more than one vehicle involved and I answered yes but that my own insurance co Liberty Mutual was handling on our behalf. I asked her who was she calling on behalf of, opposing insurance or mine. She didn't answer and became very aggressive towards me and questioning MY questions. She hung up before yelling a slur "God darn" but in another form. I knew this was very suspicious as I already the vehicle was at our insurance co PRIVATE storage facility. Just be on the look out for these scammers.

I hate when people like this lie and treat you like your stupid. How dare you put more stress upon a person who is already having to deal with this kind of crap!

This is a barratry scam. If you have been called and illegally solicited by this person, I would like to speak with you. The Texas Legislature passed a new law in September of last year that gives a private cause of action to people who are illegally solicited and includes a statutory penalty of $10,000.00 per violation. Feel free to call me at 210-222-2288. I am an attorney with the law firm of Carabin & Shaw, P.C. in San Antonio, Texas and we are actively pursuing these people.

I received the same call stating she was with the collision center and got our home address to inspect the vehicle. She called from 210.400.4472 and her assistant called from 210.459.2646. They are both total scam artist!!! I don't know what they have to gain by messing with someone while they are going through an ordeal like this. I called the guy back and laid into him. He couldn't give me not 1 straight answer! He couldn't tell me what body shop he works for! Couldn't even tell me his own name! Please pass this on to family and friends that this kind of thing is happening in SA!!

Glad I found this.
I too was in an accident yesterday evening and today got a call from a Lydia Rodriguez at 210-833-9114, She said she was with Collision Advisors and was calling to set up an appointment to get my vehicle checked out and needed to get my info and address where the car is. I asked her to explain how her company was involved with the insurance company. She asked "wasn't there another vehicle involved", when I answered yes, she said, well i'm with the adverse insurance company. She asked for my home address and I told her if she was with the insurance company, she should have that. She said she did but couldn't give me the info. She knew she was busted! She ended the call by saying "sounds like you've already talked to someone to set up a claim; thanks for your time".
Just thought I'd post my experience too so no one else falls into their trap.

I was involved in an auto accident on Sunday 6/10/2012 and my car was severly damaged. I just recieved a call from this lady Lydia asking for me to return her call. I called and left a message on a voicemail which said we are sorry we missed your call, but your call is important so please leave a detailed message after the tone. Sounds like a cell phone to me. I am not giving her any information when she calls me back.
Sounds like a BIG SCAM after reading all the posts.

** S C A M ** just received call from 'lydia'. it appears that after scanning public records for auto accidents, this 'company' calls to 'advise' you that you NEED additional quotes from doctors, car rental, and body shops. she does not represent an insurance company. mostly wanted to get injuries treated - to rack up hundreds of dollars of 'treatment' that you are liable for, since the insurance company did not authorize it.

I was in an accident, the said they needed to give me an estimate on the damages and needed to know where my car was. I asked, are you with State farm. The person hung up. Obvioisly a scam!!!!

I also received a call from this number claiming to want to check the damage on my vehicle. Then immediately asking if there were injuries. SCAM!
They said their name so fast you can't even understand if they are claiming to be 'San Antonio Collision' or San Antonio Claims'. SCAM!

Got a call from this woman after an auto accident. She claimed she represents the insurance agency, and said that she wanted to set an appointment for someone to check out the damage to our vehicle. When I expressed my suspicion about "which" company she worked for, she hung up. My guess was that she works for a personal injury lawyer, and this was nothing more than barristry. Scumbags.
