Debt Collector
I got a call claiming to be the NJ State Police claiming that they have a warrant for my arrest. Would not tell me what the warrant is for. The person is using a cellphone. Wants me to call attorney Sam Wilson. These people are using these "shock" tactics in order for you to pay money. When I mean "shock" I mean that they use this to scare you into a heart attack in order for you to pay them money. Once you pay them the money, the money never goes to the company or collection agency. It goes straight to the person who calls you. The guy never mentioned what was the warrant is about. The guy is trying to impersonate a law enforcement official which is illegal. If you get a call like this one, do what I go ignore it. It's a fake.

So what you are saying is that these guys called you out of the blue (because they are so magnanimous) and just simply gave you a loan of $7000 with no collateral, no credit check, and no job verification?  All you had to do was give them a "reload it" card?  Well I suppose I could believe you since little green men from Andromeda stopped by my house last night and dropped off a billion dollars in gold and jewels they had laying around.  They told me it was worthless on their planet because there was so much just all over the place it had no value so they decided to leave it with me because I had two cats to prove that I was worthy.  They were going to leave it at the neighbor's house but the neighbor's have two dogs and people from Andromeda do not like dogs.
I would much rather have my money in my hands than on my hands since it is easier to hold onto.
Sorry for any big words, maybe you could get your sacred cow to explain them to you.

We do not believe your tall tale.
If you were telling the truth, you would be an accessory to a crime!
So, how much are you getting paid to shill for that company?

Read this:
"It is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the U.S. to promise you a loan or credit card and ask you to pay for it before they deliver."
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0078-advance-fee-loans

More information about that scam (and others) is at
http://phonehelp.2truth.com/facts.html

That site also shows how other 800notes visitors have reduced the number of telephone scams and telemarketing calls they receive.  (And, a link to Amazon's phone blocker devices and apps is there).

If you paid (as I'm sure you did) by wire transfer: Western Union, MoneyGram, MoneyPak, etc. You cannot get your money back. These services are CASH. You DO NOT pay money to get money - for ANY reason. Report it to your local police, and don't do it again.

Nice try "Anthony" but nobody's buying.  Advance fees for loans are illegal.  Look what the FDIC says:

 Special Alerts

SA-58-2008
March 18, 2008

TO:     CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
SUBJECT:     Advance Fee Loan Scams
Summary:     Fraudulent loan offers that may claim to be from federally insured financial institutions are being widely distributed by unsolicited e-mail over the Internet.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is reminding consumers and financial institutions to be aware of advance fee loan scams. The FDIC has observed a significant increase in the number of unsolicited e-mails ("spam") advertising mortgage refinancing, debt consolidation and elimination, small business loans, and special loan programs for veterans and minorities. While some of these e-mails may advertise legitimate loan programs and lenders, advance fee loan scams are becoming more prevalent.

Advance fee loan scams prey on consumers who may be under financial duress and may be seeking quick and easy loan approval and funding. The scam typically involves the lender making false promises to arrange for a loan in return for fees paid upfront by the loan applicant. Scam artists may even design Web sites and online loan applications giving the appearance that the company is legitimate.

Fraudulent logos and letterhead of legitimate financial institutions or government agencies may also appear on documents that are faxed to the loan applicant. Potential borrowers may be asked to provide information through a Web site or be contacted by phone or e-mail by a "representative" who guarantees loan approval as soon as the borrower pays a required fee. The loan applicant may be told that the fees will be used to pay a third party for loan insurance or application processing, or to make the first month's loan payment. The loan applicant may also be told to send or wire transfer money to an individual overseas before receiving the loan proceeds.

In some cases, the loan applicant has been falsely directed to a legitimate financial institution with no knowledge of the transaction. In other cases, the loan applicant is told that the loan request was declined and is asked to forward additional money to qualify for a different loan program.

The following are warning signs that may indicate a loan offer is not legitimate:

The loan approval is "guaranteed." Lenders do not typically guarantee loans before analyzing the applicant's financial condition, credit history and ability to repay.
The loan applicant is required to pay upfront fees to a third party or individual. Loan fees are normally paid to a business after the loan has been approved.
The lender or loan processor may be located outside of the United States.
Fees are requested using a retail wire transfer system. A password is sometimes used by the overseas receiver to pick up the funds in an attempt to hide the true identity of the criminals and make funds more difficult to trace.
Victims of online advance loan fee scams should report the crimes to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov/. More information about fraudulent advance loan fee scams can be found at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt028.shtm.

It really helped me out. There are companies out using name of different company and taking money from card but believe me this is what you were looking for.
They are really good at fast verifications and depositing funds in the account.
