do not call business phone

who cares if it is a legitimate call, if they are calling the wrong # and were told they have the wrong# they need to delete the phone #, that has happened to me I have told at least 4 different people who have called I have no idea who the person is they are calling for so please delete my # they have all told me they would, I am still receiving calls.

I have been getting calls but not answering as I don't know the #, but answer once and got a voice mail saying it was Wells Fargo, I don't have any account there so stopped answering.

I am in my grace period w Wells Fargo. They called me today for the first time around 8 am from this number. My mortgage started out with Wacovia but they went under and now its with Wells Fargo. It is a pick a pay loan  that I didnt select my broker did and is now an arm with a 5% interest rate that can go up to 12%. Wells wont refinance it and wont fix the rate .When I start my new job I should qualify to go to other lenders.

These loans were later deemed illegal and I sold my other home with the same loan and am left with this one. Unfortunarely shen the class action was filed i lived in the one I sold and this one was listed as a rental. Now I had to move to my smaller rental and it wasnt on the list for the class because it was a rental as of Nov 2009 or so now it would quailfy for a mod but it fell between the cracks since it was at that date listed as a rental and not owner occ. The attorneys made provisions for everything but those people that had to sell their home an move to another pick a pay home loan that had been a second home or rental. If anyone has information that is recent dince wr are now in 2014 please help. Thank you!

OMG I have received a call from this # at least twice a day, while I am at work they call my cell phone and they NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. They called and I happen to see the # so I answered it and they said they were Wells Fargo Mortgage looking for someone I have no idea who it was. I told them to please delete my # and they assured me they would. HUH like that was really going to happen, I have and still am receiving the calls, I have spoke to two different people since my initial conversation asking them to remove my # in which all three of them assured me it would be deleted, I received a call today and I was unable to answer it as I am at work. What the heck is going on...enough is enough

I have been receiving calls from this number for several months now.  No message is ever left.  We had our mortgage with World Savings (loved them), but they merged with Wachovia (absolutely hated them).  But this happened a few years back and now my mortgage is with Wells Fargo (where I have my checking and savings accts).  I don't care that they call, just that they don't leave a message stating their business.  We're not behind on our mortgage (we've been paying extra each month).

Quit calling.     Cel.  Rang. 4 times.    left no msg.      Irratating

They call me 4 times a day too, 8.30 am is the first call including Saturdays. I have nothing outstanding with Wells Fargo and have never even heard of World Savings.

Wells Fargo home mortgage.  Calling old number probably since I do not have a mortgage with WF.

Since 5 days I am receiving calls claiming to be from Wells Fargo Bank on my home phone.  First few calls were attended by my wife who told them that I will be available after 7pm. Promptly just after 7pm the 3rd phone call comes stating that I made a phone call to Wells Fargo on such a date( that was few days ago) for loan refinancing.  Interestingly that info and date was correct. She then said that if I may participate in a phone survey about how satisfied I was with the service provided by Wells Fargo Mortgage dept. I agreed. During this call no personal info was solicited. After few minutes of that survey she states that she is having a technical difficulty and that a specialist will call me.  I could hear her very clearly.  Then 2 days later which is today Saturday morning, I get a phone call from this tel 210-543-4000. This guy asks for me stating my name, then states half of my home address and wants me to give the complete address for confirmation purposes. Which I did. Then he starts to speak very fast and was making no sense.  The only thing which I picked out was that I had a current loan amount ( the figure was not correct and seemed like an estimated number ) and that I was late on my payment due on Dec 15th 2012 (the payment amount was not correct and seemed like an estimated number). I knew that I have never been late. Then he says would you like to make the payment.  I told him this is not possible and that this phone is a scam. He asks me why do I think so. I closed the phone. After 5 minutes, I get another phone from so called Wells Fargo tel: 425-320-5541. This girl asks for me. I told her that is the "Detention Center". She said sorry must be the wrong phone number.

In summary, no one should give their personnel info to any on the phone. Secondly, remain calm and never panic. To very any situation/info you should call the bank directly. The only time you can give info is if you are calling Wells Fargo and that the telephone number obtained is from your Wells Fargo mortgage statement or from your local Wells Fargo Bank branch. I've been getting phone callls from this number for about 3 days, Christmas music plays when I answer.  The sound of an answering system come on after a few seconds.  It has called several times at all hours.

Wells Fargo home mortgage calls all day and all night, even after 8:30 p.m.

I keep getting phone calls from 2105434000 at least twice a day but no one ever leaves a message so I'm not calling back because it it is World Savings or Wachovia, they are no longer.  ItWells Fargo took over Wachovia who took over World Savings.

Hi it is not wellsfargo. i called the wellsfargo 800 number and they said they never called! Like the others we have received numerous calls and that resulted in hang ups and no messages left.

Incoming call sounded like a fax machine or modem.

It may or may not be Wells Fargo. With VOIP (voice over IP) telephony it is very easy to spoof a fake callerid. If I can do it (and I can), then anyone can do it. Bottom line, do not give out personal information on phone calls that you don't initiate.  And make sure that any phone numbers you are given and dial are legitmate numbers for the business you are calling.

The one question I want to make sure I have a clear, correct answer to is this: can we at least agree that the owner of the 210-543-4000 number defintely is Wachovia/Wells Fargo; or are we still at the point where we can only say that 210-543-4000 MIGHT be Wachovia/Wells Fargo, but also might  be a scam artist falsely claiming to work for Wachovia/Wells Fargo?

Calls every day, three or four times. Blocked number, but they still call. My ringer is off. But it cost the consumer to get call forwarding select, Panasonic phones to block unwanted calls and other devices to enable one to have a sense of saneness in their lives. So pathetic of the bottom feeding vultures who are annoying the crap out of you. IT IS INSANE FOR SOMEONE TO KEEP CALLING YOU AND YOU HAVE ASKED THEM NOT TO VERBALLY OR IF YOU ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. THE VERY AGENCIES THAT ARE DESIGN TO HELP AND PROTECT US IS ALSO THE ONES THAT INDIRECTLY HELP THOSE THAT ARE A MENACE TO US.

TAKE PICTURES OF THESE CALLS AND START BUILDING A PAPER TRAIL.

i get many calls from this number , at all hours and it only rings once and no message is left . it is highly annoying . when i call back , it is like i have called a fax line !

iam gilbert kamber and am calling about 1832 murrietta lane modesto ca 95355 this is my rental house your guys are calling me every day thats an herrasement after all i explained to you every time you call but it seems you dont understand the thing is the reason iam behind payment is because i didnt have tenant since 10_10_2011 because they moved out and house was empty until 12_31_2011 thats when new tenants moved in and i have company name liberty property management helped me find new tenants and they are charging me 8% and they rented for me 900 dollars so they charging me 72 dollars every month but i didnt get nothing from them until march 25th 2012 for 425.43 dollars then they send me 828 dollars apr 25th i maid cashiers check it was 1253.43 dollars sent that to you then i recieved 828 dollars on may 25th 2012 i also sent that to you and i had conformation that was deliverd to you on june 1st 2012 so what iam trying to say iam complying with you please give me time and i will promise you i will pay the back payment because iam commited fully to keep the house because its colledge tuition for my daughter please understand this and allow me to worked out and thank you very much.

Just got our first call from this phone # and searching for who it was from, ended up here reading these other posts..    It just played music.......... we do have a Home Equity LOC that is current on payments but no other mortgages or loans.

Have been customers since the early '60's of Golden West/World Savings/Wachovia and now Wells Fargo.  Getting tired of all the merges and changes..... they're getting rather fouled up.

Anyone have any idea why the calls when there is nothing overdue or problematic?

Just got a call from 210-543-4000 . World Savings was purchased by Wacovia who was recently merged with Wells Fargo Bank and the 210 is to Wells Fargo - Wacovia MORTGAGE corporate headquarters in TX.

I used to get calls from Wachovia- that weren't actually Wachovia.  I put a password on my account that they had to give to me, when they called.    It is a difficult concept, because they are usually the ones asking for the password.    It has to be very clear in your instructions to them that is in the event the bank wants to call you.    You might even be able to put two passwords.  One, if they call you, and another if you call them.   I only call the main numbers to the bank/mortgage company.

Yes they were offering deals that seemed too good to be true, and wanted personal information.  They offered a loan mod that Wachovia wasn't even offering yet.  The process is done by mail, not over the phone.

Used to be World Savings, then Wachovia Mortgage, now Wells Fargo Mortgage.  They call making friendly reminders on late mortgages.

Received a few calls from this number also.  World Savings was purchased by Wachovia, and then Wachovia was purchased by Wells Fargo; however, I still get calls from World Savings asking me to refinance my mortgage with them ...which totally makes NO sense at all...

I refuse to give my social security number...any part of it!!!.  I have had an account with World Savings for years and was never called.  They changed to Wachovia and the same, I was never called until a few months ago then these calls starting coming.  I refused to give my personal info and told them to stop calling me.  It stopped for a short period of time.  Now my mortgages have flipped again to Wells Fargo...and I just got a call from this number....  No one will ever get my personal info over the phone.  I know several people who have given up there personal info and have been scammed out of money/identity..that's scarey...Honesty has gone out the window...We need to stop giving out our personal info just because someone claims to be with a particular company. Let them mail something out, the way people use to do business...then we can investigate the legitimacy.
