I have been getting this really disturbing phone calls to my mothers house,,Im home on leave from the Military and they seem to really worry her because they say my name and state that a matter of urgency must be discussed with me,. being away from home and trying to do my job as best as I can is really easy,,,knowing that my mother is getting this troublesome phone calls at all hours of the day really puts me on alert and gets me all wokrked out since Im not home to handle and properly report this individuals to the authorities.  PLEASE stop the calls...at once.

Got a call from a man asking for Carl. Told him no one here by that name. He asked who he was calling gave him  "last name" residence. Then he asked how long we have had this phone number and I told him over 3 yrs. He said he was sorry and hung up. Not sure what that was all about... guess they had the wrong number. From other posts .. looks to be a collector for Dell. Never owned one and don't know who Carl is.

Don't owe Dell. Never had a dell.  Guy called me. Wasn't sure who. It was. I hung up the phone and called back to see who would answered. Answered with customer service, but didn't say who they were. So when I asked who I was calling he hung up.

Had a number on Caller ID showing this 210 693-0941.  Glad I looked it up, and won't be answering it or any other #'s I don't recognize!  Thank modern tech for CID!!!

Thanks. We did the same thing...these guys answer the call as "customer service" and pretend that they are trying to contact you to help resolve something...what scum bags.

I first received a call from an 800/866 number and spoke with the represnetative regarding an alledged Dell account. In that conversation, I informed them that IF they believe there is an actual debt: (1.) the original creditor can inform me in writting of any alledged account and (2.) that they are to cease & desist any future calls regarding this matter (sent a letter to that effect as well)...

Now they are randomly trying my other listed numbers using this 210-693-0941 number and pretending to be someone who knows me. These guys are nice enough in their initial contacts but then other people from ARS continue to call from various 800/866 numbers & now a local unknown number...bunch of scum bags!

I owe Dell Nothing... but after just receiving  two calls on my cell phone from these PESTS..  I  will now block their number(s).

Read the posts... Don't own ANYONE any money... But this number keeps calling my house, every 15 minutes or so from 6am until 10 or 11pm and even on the weekends. We now keep our phone unplugged unless we need to make a call and hope that anyone who needs to really reach us contacts us by cell phone. I answered this call numerous times and they always ask for my husband. I ask them who they are. They always give a first name and then ask me who I am. I just tell them that if they want to speak with my husband so badly, then they will tell me who they are and who they are with. They always hang up on me. Funny part is, if there is a problem with something, I am the one that they will want to speak with. My husband works all day and I manage EVERYTHING else. So if they don't speak with me, my husband will NOT speak with them. If he is home, he always says "who is it and what do they want?" Then he tells me to tell them that he is not interested and to please remove us from the list. That is the extent of him speaking with anyone that he does not personally know on the phone. I hope that whoever keeps calling will read this and then STOP calling. Or tell me what they want next time. At this rate, we will disconnect our home phone all together, and they can have a NICE DAY!!

Got a call yesterday, this morning,and this afternoon from this number. I read the other posts. I don't owe Dell any money. I don't know why they would be calling. I answer and there is no one there. I let it go to voice mail and no one leaves a message. I star 69'd the number and it said that the call could not be completed. I dialed the number direct and it was always busy. Hope this helps someone out there. I am going to get an airhorn, and blow their eardrums to hell and back if this keeps up. It's annoying to say the least.

I got a call from 210-693-0941 and answered. They asked for my mom. After taking a message I did some research. They are the Associated Recovery Systems (ARS). I know that they represent Dell in collections. If you take a message they are really friendly they give you their REAL number and give an extension for the representative you are talking to. They also give you their name and ask you to have the person they are looking for call back. Their toll free number is 866-213-7004. I'm not sure if you owe them money but that's probably what it is about. I share the area code they showed up under. So I imagine it's so you'll answer.

They didn't leave a message when they called.
