Had the same number text me about a saddle asking how much I'd take. Told them then got the same response about sending a check and they'd pick up after it cleared. Told them I only accept PayPal. What do you know no response back.

They also texted me about buying a saddle I had listed. Gave me the whole I'll send a cashiers check and my Secretary will pick up the saddle once it clears. When I said that I only accept cash, no exceptions, I didn't get a response. Total scam

This number is doing the same thing to me. He is buying a pet rat from me. S texted and said his "blonde secretary" sent the wrong amount. I was suspicious so I only gave him my work address to mail the money order. Glad I checked this website because the whole thing didn't feel right.

Yeah, same thing happening over last couple days. Sorta insults your intelligence that someone ACTUALLY believes you are going to send a stranger money. Same phone number. It happened to my daughter and police said the "routing number " is REAL but acct number was false

I had the same number text a response to a free classified add I placed for a vehicle I'm selling, they said they will contact me when they send out the cashiers check our money order is sent and asked for my address and name. Just found this post while looking because it sounds fishy to me. So I'm guessing they send a fake check for more than what the price asked and wasn't you to return the rest to them? Guess I'll have to wait to see if they contact me again.

The text msg. continued saying that his secretary maile the chk but had written chk for $1900 but so as not to delay the sale he wanted me to cash the chk and return the difference after payment of $280.00. Was deducted and return the cash via money gram to someone named Picker. law is no help at all.

They sent text only. asking if i would accept acheck as payment after it cleared for a saw i listed in free want ads. they texted again price was ok and they notify me. when they mailed the chk and send a mover to pickup the saw.I was suspicious. that they would buy something unseen and asked them. about that got no reply that is when i chkd the area code and saw was in S. Texas i tried to call to talk and fot an answering device
