Same thing with the mary kay products. i was told that they couldnt place the order through my site, due to complications. I said well you were able to view my site for my number, you can view my site to place an order. never got a response.

Also got a text from this number about ordering mary kay items. I figure if they want to order they will give me their name and possibly call me so I didn't waste any time responding. Thanks for all the posts!

Just got the same scam as the rest of you - same order too. Glad I looked it up!

I received a text from the same number but she said her name was Linda James; linda_james001@hotmail.com.  I replied via text that I could not help her.

Texted me to email them back about ordering, I figured was a scam so I googled the email reply and it was exactly the same as yours but from a different number and email address

I received the same exact message, except the email I was to contact Maria at was jltjms@yahoo.com. So sad that people run scams like this.  Thanks to everyone for posting comments and keeping us informed!!!

Ladies, its unfortunate that no one can be trusted and like all Mary Kay Consultants I wanted to help this so called Maria.  After receiving several text messages, our conversation continued by email.  Here it is.  I knew from our last conversation by email that it was a hoax.  Does anyone need any Sugar Scrub?

Haha!That is so funny, I got one too, except they can't seem to figure out how to get me their list of stuff that they want. I encouraged them to register an account on my website so far they haven't but yep it's a knuckle head for sure!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Don't be fooled by this.

I got the text message and when I replied to the email address listed below I got the SAME email sent back to me. I immediatly thought it was fraud!!!

I also had the same message and I am a Mary Kay consultant.  Gotta love having to worry about taking an order...

I got the SAME exact message. I suspected it was a scam and found this!!!

I received the same message as well. It's so sad that there are people out there who are so pathetic. Unfortunately this is my 4th scammer this year. People make me sick.

I also JUST got a text from this number wanting to order Mary Kay. This is the exact text: Hello,I saw your Post on Mary Kay.I would love to Order some MaryKay Products.Get back to me at maria.martinez2928@hotmail.com. I know there has been a lot I scams so I decided to search this number and glad I did.

Received txt msg requesting help in purchasing Mary Kay products. I know these are scams, but contacted by email which was maria.martinez2928@hotmail.com and said I would assist. Now she is sending me a check but wants balance sent to daughter for wedding. Oh did I forget to mention she is deaf. Okay I wasn't born yesterday but figure, why not let these ppl send $20 for the mailing through Fed Ex and pay for a check and report them at the bank for fraud. I also tell them I do not accept personal checks. I also can report CC as fraud too. It wasn't even 24 hours later that I received another txt from the #724-343-1299 with same message and all the drama. I typed back that I had already emailed her. SO not sure if they are good at their own game. I figure I will play operation sting as long as they are willing to send me their information.

For a text from this number wanting to buy a puppy from me...had to use PayPal and he would have an agent pick up the dog...told him I don't use PayPal!
