Called several times in the last 3 weeks, but no one says anything when you answer will call at late at 8:45pm cst when you call back you don't get anyone.

Several calls per week.  I never pick up and they leave no message.  Caller ID reads BCBF

Solicitors as usual. I've used a line that I've been using for 20 years, 'Nobody is working in this house." Works every time, they always hang up.

I want this stuff to stop why doesn't the no call list work on this stuff!  No message and called late - 8:30 PM Houston, TX time.

call back leads to machine claiming number is Breast Cancer Prevention Fund. unknown if actual representatives can be reached. back check on BCPF leads to actual website, legitimacy unknown but unlikely. website includes physical locations for contact. only one texas based branch, located in dallas. NONE of the addresses belong to BCPF, addresses are either private or other businesses. BCPF COULD be legit, but seems to be focused on west coast. likelihood of calls actually from BCPF slim. recommend regard as scam and block number

They called this afternoon.  Left no message.  I can't understand why I get these calls when I am on the "do not call" list.

I get the call often too.  I called the number back and got a recording saying they are the Breast Cancer Prevention Fund, couldn't get to a person to talk to.

Probably a scam soliciting donations for their own pockets.

I was just able to determine this is a "land line" out of San Antonio, TX.  However, did not ID the name of the caller.

This no. repeatedly calls (sometimes 4 - 5 times a day).  ID says BCBF.

Multiple calls over the past 2 weeks.

Claims to be some sort of breast cancer/mammogram charity.  Live nice lady very tricky trying to get a "yes" to some innocent question.  Must be crooks of some sort.

I am on the National Register DO NOT CALL LIST.  Next time I will seek legal advice.

210-892-0490 called today. left no message.  caller id says BCBF.

BCBF has been calling me for about a month and I never answer because I don't know the number and you know this is the time of the year for lots of scams!!  Beware all.  I think if this was for real they would at least leave a message.

I can't return the call, i get a recording that says the call cannot be completed as dialed. I am on the do not call list but it doesn't seem to matter to these folks.

got first call from this number today. No message left when I didn't answer--guess they believed my answering machine announcement that says all telemarketers and solicitors should hang up as those calls will not be answered. Hope they put out the word not to call again---and yes I am on both state and national do not call lists!!

It's a scam. According to their publicly available IRS form 990 the BCPF took in $3,854,331 in 2008. It paid $2,339,941 of that for "telephone outreach" to a company called Legacy Corporation. The form 990 claims that the $2.3 million is for services rendered "below market rates." Legacy is owned, in part, by the President of the board of directors of BCPF. Their toll-free number, according to IRS docs, is: 866-486-4344 and address: Box 1508, Everett, WA.

received a call from 210-892-0490 but did not answer. When I receive calls from an unknown number I just let it go to the answerphone message. Then if it turns out to be someone thatI wish to talk to I pick it up while they are leaving a message. Otherwise do not answere it.

third call from BCBF this week.  No message left.  STOP CALLING !!!!!!!!

Received numerous calls, usually 4 to 7 days apart, and when answered I got dead air.  I plan on submitting a complaint to the FCC.

I too am on the do not call registry. I have filed a complaint with the FCC. We'll see if that stops the calls.
