a***ole yelled into the phone "NO NUMBER"  and other people can be heard in the background talking, laughing and being inmature.

Received a call from them trying to sell an extended warranty on a vehicle that I no longer own. They hung up immediately when I asked for the business information to report to the FCC.

Telemarketing trying to sell Extended Auto Warranty.  They did have my name and my vehicle description...clearly purchased a list somewhere.  Ask to be place on DNC list, they were very polite and said you've got it.  Guess we'll see.

This is sales group selling "extended warranty" vehicle maintenance policies!

Just got called from this number I a so glad I did not waste my time with this bull.....

Just got second call.  Called back...press 2 for DO NOT CALL LIST...Press 3 to confirm.  Simple and hopefully works.

This number called -  I don't answer unrecognized numbers.  No message left.

This guy just called on my cell phone and identifed himself from Chevrolet and saying my warranty expirred and would offer me extended warranty for $500 a year for 5 years. I think he is a phony.

i usually don't answer unknown phone # either, however, was just feelling more charitable today.
the man on the phone did ask for my husband, whose name is probably on the cell bill.....  
when he asked if he was here I said "No, may I leave a message"?   then he just hung up....
Kewl....  I'm blocking that number right now !   I love this website so I can check these bogus phone # !

just got a call on my cell from this number. i don't answer calls from numbers i don't recognize.
The Do Not Call List does not work as far as i'm concerned. Been on it for years, it doesn't matter if your on it or not.

210 892 0547 is an unknown repeat caller. I have not replied with return call. Others call this a scam number. Last time I rec'vd a call concerning an expired warranty I called my dealer and they were aware of calls from the number and took care of it for me. I am also on the don't call list but keep getting a number of unknown calls from unknown numbers.

Same here, called & left no message. I called the number back & got a recording with the option to be placed on the Do Not Call list, which I did. So we shall see.

Exact same scenario. She called talking about auto coverage. I asked what company. She was unable to answer and hung up. SCAM SCAM SCAM

The guy said he was Doug from the Auto Recovery Program.  Having recently wrecked my car and subsequently bought a new one, it sounded legitimate (though the fact that he didn't say what company the program was associated with was weird).  He asked if I still owned a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, to which I replied I have never owned a Toyota, so he immediately hung up.

Received a call...did not answer. No message.  Came to this site, called the number back and they had options to talk to a rep or option 2 to be placed on a do not call list. Presed option 2 and was asked if I'm sure I want to be placed on the do not call list press 3.  Pressed 3 and was told I had been added to their do not call list.  I hope it's not some kind of new phone virus as the last post stated.

210-892-0547 number called  and I  set them to "reject" without answering. My other contacts started to get calls shorty there after (within 1-2 minutes). This is a phone contact hacker. It started when I got a message from a co-worker I had not heard from in a few months. Since my phone (and number) is new I'm sure that is what is going on.  So this appears to be a phone contact virus.

Also just received a call from this number, asking about mileage on a vehicle and extended warranty.  "Mary" hung up when I asked her what company she worked for.

Called a minute ago.I did not recognize the number so I did not answer . Left no message.Ergo. the call is not important.

Got a call from this number inquiring about a truck I used to own but traded into to a reputable dealer a couple of years ago. Pretended to be someone else, offered to take a message, girl on the phone declined. Something "Auto Processing Unit."

Got this number called on my cell phone. I don't answer on unknown number, didn't leave a message though. I just don't know how they get hold of my number.

Just got a call from this number.  Some guy was calling and it sounded like he was in a restaurant or somewhere with a lot of people talking in the background. He asked for me by NAME and KNEW the model and make of a car I owned. He wanted to know if I still owned it. I then asked what was the purpose of this call. He then muttered something and hung up.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Just received a call from this number. I was asked how many miles were on my car and when I asked "who is this" his reply was "some kid" and he hung up.

I just received a call from this number, but I didn't answer. Based on the other comments, this is definitely a scam.

Please contact their phone company and complain.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY INFORMATION. These guys are trying to sell "mechanical breakdown" insurance as if it were some kind of extended warranty. It is a scam. There have been specials on TV about people actually purchasing this insurance and then being denied all claims.
