received text from 210-957-5812.  It said, "2nd notice, CommunityChoice CU has deactivated your 420644XXXXXXXXXX debit card.  To reactivate, call 2109575812."
I don't have a debit card.  I called the number and had a mechanical voice say it was their phone banking line and asked for my 16 digit card number.  I didn't give it and neither should you.  They're phishing for identity theft, etc.

had a text message from 5812 saying "thx for visiting" and telling me to call 888.210.9448 to claim $25 gift cards for WalMart. I've had others similar to this. Think it's traceable to a supposedly free Subway Sandwich deal that was being passed along via Facebook, and I fell for it.

This is a scam but I turned in at my work....I work for the Secret Service out of Detroit.....We are doing tracebacks on the phone numbers that are forwarded and tracking their positions....this is a federal offense.

Hi, we got one too - from 248-686-8857 claiming some made up card is deactivated and we need to call 734-693-6397.  If you do work for an agency that can crack down on these people, I am all for it.  This disgusts me and I would love to see these people punished in very harsh (and perhaps permanent) ways.

These messages need to stop.  I work where my employer supplies our cell phones and each and every one of us are receiving multiple test messages stating our ATM card has been suspended and we're to call 210-957-5812.   This pfishing needs to stop.
