I am also getting calls from this strange number. Because it starts with 0031, I think it comes from my country, the Netherlands. I do not pick up, because I do not trust it. But I wonder what their purpose is. Why do they call unknown people without sales information? What is the catch?

Got a call twice yesterday.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  Today I have received two calls, and the caller ID showed unavailable from the 211-111-1111 number.  They did not hear me switch over and they did not speak, but I could hear what sounded like a call center with numerous people speaking in background.  This is definitely an out of country #.  Good thing I am on do not call list.  I work from home and this takes away from work, so will not put up with this.  Would love any ideas anyone has for me.  Thanks

received a call today from this number but have never seen a number like this.  Any ideas as to what it is???

I recieved call from this number. The voicemail that was left sounded like a windtunnel. No voice or instruction left on the voice mail.

I received a call from (212) 111-1619 at 9:22 A.M. on 06/16/2011.  The caller knew my name, *my middle name which I go by, not my proper listed name.  When I confirmed, he hung up.  When I returned the call the answer was "your call cannot be completed as dialed"

This is creepy.  What do we all have in common here?

I have received several of these this week.  The phone company says they have never heard of it and there is nothing they can do.

I received a call but no one was on the other end. I get a lot of these.

Yes your not the only one, I've recieved 8 calls one after another today in which I've just been hanging up the them!. In which on the eighth call they left me a lovely message telling me to "F**K Off"!. I contacted Vergin Media to ask for help, they could not trace the call but it is out for the country from a call centre. Vergin Media was really helpful even though they could not trace the call they said either have your number changed or try the link below which takes your numbers off the registry that these of country call centres use!. I'll post agin if I get anymore calls after registering with this site below, It does'nt costr anything so I'll give it a go!

I am recieving up to 5 calls a day to my CELL PHONE from this number. I do not answer... I CALLED IT 2 TO 3X from another land line phone!!! AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAYING "WE'RE SORRY YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED PLS CHECK THE # AND DIAL AGAIN"

keep calling me saying i have pre qualified for some damn credit card like every day some indian sounding dude told him i would hunt him down if he wouldent stop calling but still calls

I noticed this on my caller ID when someone was calling me through their computer.

Who is this? This is ridiculous. They should be turned in to the "national do not call list"

Yes, I am getting them also.  Will ring on house phone and come up unknown caller.  They will call twice and then call on my cell phone.  It happened 6 times today.

I answered a call from this number. A thuggish voice asked if I was "...." (my name). I did not verify and instead I asked who the call was from. They asked if I was "..." again, and I said I would not speak with them until they identified themselves. I told them their number ID was 211-111-1111 and asked them to identify. They did not and I hung up.
