Tried to screen (block) this call thru Infinity.  Can't block it since it's an international call.

Got the same calls as everyone else last night (around 6PM).  What concerned me was that he knew my internet service provider.  Guess our companies share our information.

I received a call from this number saying that my computer was downloading unwanted software.  I asked him what my IP address was and he did not answer.  I think asked him if he knew what an IP address is and he hung up.

Wanted to fix my computer, heavy accent.

Received a call like everyone else. I told him I didn't have windows operating system and he said I still had a problem! Go figure....I hung up on him.

I received a call from an person of Indian decent.  He told me that I have a computer virus and they need me to go to my computer immediately so he can help me.  I said sure no problem, but I don't own a computer.  He then said, "then why are you wasting my time!"  I hope they catch this crook and he can't prey upon someone who isn't wise to his scam.  

The number starts with a ZERO.
Everyone know 212 is NY. Everyone should also know that NO exchange in the US starts with 1 or zero.

A man with a thick Indian accent told me that my computer had been attempting to download a program for "several months" and had run up a cost of about $3000. I said, "Um, no." And he said, "No? You don't know what I am meaning? Go to the computer and I will make you understand."  I said, "I don't think so!" and hung up.

Got call from this number today. My husband answered and spoke to guy with an accent. My husband asked him if he could call him back on this number and he said yes. My husband said good because I'm on the Do Not Call list. It is not my responsibility to let you know that. You are supposed to check the list. Will be reporting you to FTC. To which the guy just sat and listened. Didn't say anything after that so my husband hung up.

Received call on Jan. 13, 2013 at 5:20p.m.. When I answered some Hindu called me by the wrong name (which is not the name my computer is registered under) and then started hysterically ranting about error messages being received by Microsoft from my computer.  He told me I had to go immediately to my computer and he would tell me what to do.  When I told him I was unable to do so, he kept ranting that my computer was in danger and the repairs could not be done myself.  After refusing to do as he requested, he asked when I would be able to access my computer and he would call back.  There is nothing wrong with my computer and when he calls back his call will be forwarded to the local Police Department.  It's a sad state of affairs when it's not safe to even answer your phone and there is nothing being done to stop this.  I never wanted to live long enough to see our Country in such a disastrous state.

I got several calls from 212-077-1263 finally picked up. Told caller not to bother me any more. He said' F you MF" I told him to grow up and hung up. Calls day & night.

I have no idea who this number belongs to but the call I received was a very broken English speaking woman asking about my computer.  I have no computer issues/problems and seems to me this is one of the scams to gain access to personal info off of computers.

Do not want these people calling me. We will not answer but they keep calling.

Guy with Indian accent called and even mentioned my last name (which is a listed number), but called at a bad time so I didn't have time to toy with him.  He mentioned an infection on my computer and said he was with 24/7 something company.  He wanted me to go to my computer so he could help me.  When I asked which of my 2 computers was infected, he said it didn't matter and I could do this on either of them.  It was an obvious scam, since it really would matter which computer we used if it really was infected.

As an IT professional I would normally want to play along just to know more about how his scam is played so I can warn others.  Since I didn't have time to play along, I asked him for a phone number to call him back and he just hung up on me.

Thanks for others who have taken the time to post their experience here, so others aren't scammed.

Got called today from these SCAMSTERS and I let it go to voice-mail. They didn't leave a message.

Be aware that the number on your caller ID is a spoofed number, as there are no city code phone numbers in this country that start with a 0.

Got two calls from these jerks in one day!!   Sounded like the same guy but he used a different name the second time.  He was obviously not comfortable with my computer savvy and my proficient grasp of the English language because he hung up on me with I told him in very specific terms what he was full of.   I rather enjoyed it but that's just me.  

called at 01/03/14   at 6:15 PM   computer scam group. Trying to get my credit card company

Indian guy said they were from "A global technical services company" and I needed to be in front of my computer.  Very dangerous scam don't do anything these people tell you.

Same guy, same pitch.  The phone company should block their number

Found voicemail around 1 PM from this number - vague voices in background then they hung up.  Checked number online (saw the complaints) then reported to the FTC.

I just got this call on fri jan 03, 2014 from this Number 212-077-1263 this Guy tell's me he's been moniting everything on my Pc and told me i had Junk mail in my folder and i needed to quit suffing these site's.
So i called him some words and more just get him to back off and asked me if that's how i treat my Parent's and then he hung up on me. i tryed to call the Number back and it said verizon wireless tts 4136 and repeats again.
So do block that Number and plus if he did have your info he wouldn't tell you he woulded destoryed your pc are laptop.

So keep in mine it's always a scam .also they will make them self's sound like another company so ask you self is it true  are is it a scam and hang up and then call you place's that you pay bill's on and check and make sure everything is still Safe and ok.

A person with an Indian accent called me about 5:30 PM on Jan 2, 2014 and said his name (Don't remember it) and then said that he was from PCSPEEDY and he was calling to tell me that my PC had a problem with Windows.  As soon as he said that I just hung up on him.  I could not sleep the night after that because I had dreams of my computer crashing.

I got up early Jan 3rd and entered his phone number (1-212-077-1263) into Google and the first entry was this same scenario repeated over and over. Hopefully I will find a way to report this scam to some authority that can stop this type of fraud from spreading.

Got a call from 212-077-1263 they said they were located in Las Vegas (Indian accent) and they were calling about a virus in my computer.  I asked them a million questions until the guy got really pissed at me.  I said to him, how do you know that I have a PC and not an APPLE?  If you know I have a problem you must know what kind of system I have, so tell me!  

I knew it was a scam and I like to play with these guys and keep them on the line so they don't call other people.  He finally said screw up, you're wasting my time and hung up.

So sick of the same numbers calling my home, as soon as I mention being on the do not call list, they hang up. These people invade our homes via the telephone and just NEVER stop!  

Happy New Year, fraud fighters! These are idiots with thick (Indian?) accents who call about problems with Windows on your computer. while attempting to A) install bogus stuff to gain control of my computer and B) steal credit card numbers. I block them and laugh.
