Booked tickets through Joonbug/SkyNet Media/Crave tickets for NYE at AMC Theatre 2013.
We paid $550 a ticket to get VIP access to the Best View of The Ball drop LIVE, they put false & misleading advertising on their website, they scam people and a ripoff! We did NOT get VIP anything, NO VIP exclusive floor, no priority admission. People who paid $75 for general admission were on the VIP exclusive floor, eating our food, drinking our alcohol and then just before the ball dropped they PUSHED right through all the so called security guards and burst onto the terrace and got to watch the ball drop live! They were better VIP's than me coz it only cost them a measly $75 bucks. Ring this pathetic company to complain, send emails even go to their place of business and the actual CEO does not give a rats! RUDE, NASTY and disgusting, ruined my NYE experience and actually tarnished the New York part of my trip, they should be closed down, check out Rip off, trip advisor, actually google Joonbug SCAM and see how many people they have ripped off and have been getting away with it for years!! I want to pursue a suit against them, if any one wants to join, please contact me!

I wish i didnt have to rate ONE star.I travelled from the UK to New York for my first time and booked tickets through cravetickets.com (paid $320) for an 'ALL INCLUSIVE BAR' well after being the polite english girl i am i queued for 2 hours for a drink that was never served, there was no organisation NOTHING.

It ruined a trip id spent thousands on, i have emailed and called for my money back or some sort of compensation and got no reply.

The new years eve event was at district 36, i paid $320 plus coat check to stand in a line for 2 hours, i then left.Absolute Scam!!

They prey on new photographers any real photographer in NYC laughs at them when they try to contact you. They never pay and if they do its is not worth your time and you need to chase them for months for a 100 bucks.

Someone by the name of Valerie who works for Joonbug contacted me to come in for an interview 2 days prior to the actual interview and I was siked! When i got there not only was the room filled like what looked like the local Welfare Office Crowd waiting for a GROUP INTERVIEW- i was told they'd hired all their staff already & that a personal email was sent to me. Of course i never did receive that nonexistant email. I live in jersey and went all the way there for nothing.!

The ads for photographers are part of the scam in getting people to goto the website and they show a ton of traffic to the site they have almost a 1000 jobs posted at any one time. There are people currently work inside joonbug helping the state build a case against them.

I almost worked for this company photographing their NYE parties. First red flag was when the point person sent the wrong venue information to me. Second red flag was the request for me to pickup the photo cards at a second venue and bring the cards with me. Why not simply send the cards directly to the venues prior to the event? Better yet bring the cards themselves since they are the ones who planned the events. Third red flag was the last email I received stating do not show up at my assigned venue until the point person sends me confirmation. There was some last minute issue with the venue, that was being work out.
This was on Friday morning, three days prior to NYE. Saturday turned to Sunday, then Monday no email or call to confirm I was to shoot. By Monday afternoon, I decided not to hold my breadth for Joonbug. Best thing to do is leverage my services directly to the venues. Skip the middlemen, who don't seem to be all there. Weird considering they had multiple posts all over the web looking for photographers.

Looks like the parent company has been scamming employees for quite some time these people all need to be in prison

If you are a victim of joonbug or its parent company skynet media you need to file a complaint with department of consumer affairs in NYC and also file a complaint with the ny state attorney general

You're in a small room, with what seemed like 500 people, sitting on a hard chair for 10 hours a day. As a telemarketer, all I did was call people and read a script, but the script never changes. We were like little robots calling and reading...calling and reading...because hardly anyone ever picked up their phone, and the ones that did just slammed  the phone right in our faces. Not to mention all of the telemarketers are squeezed in next to each other, with barely any elbow room.

And something is EXTREMELY WRONG with their system. I could be calling someone, the woman sitting next to me is calling the same person, the guy on the other side of the room is on the phone talking with the same person, while the woman two rows over just left a message FOR THE SAME PERSON. This happened so many times!!

Plus you only get a HALF HOUR break, a half hour out of TEN HOURS! What are you going to do with that?! And the PAY SUCKS. I repeat...the PAY SUCKS! It's not enough money to deal what you have to go through working for this company.

Oh, and on my first day, someone said they saw A MOUSE under her desk. The whole room jumped up scared, I mean...REALLY?!

I've worked for telemarketing companies before, & this is just THE WORSE. The best part of this job was signing OUT and going HOME! I quit after week. ? less oh stay away from [removed:lang]

The are advertising for models and photographers now all over craigslist stay away from this place you will never get paid and they just moved in the middle of the night to a new location at 225 west 39th st. This place is a scam and needs to be shut down. They have also changed their names like 10 times in the past few years every time people catch on to the scam.
