I would receive a call from American Ballet Theatre for a subscription, but my caller ID said DMC, whatever that's supposed to be. Guess they did that to try and get people to pick up who wouldn't if they properly identified themselves the way the NY Philharmonic and NYC Ballet do. Very tacky, but that's what happens when you perform in a complex that has a theatre named after David Koch -- civilization, for all their pretense, goes right out the window.

Caller ID says ABT and the area code (212) is from New York City. I have to wonder if it's American Ballet Theater. Even though I never attended any of their productions and I'm in southwestern Pennsylvania, I am a former subscriber to my local ballet company. There would be no reason for ABT to have my number unless my local ballet company sold it to them, which I hope isn't the case. And, of course, it may not actually be American Ballet Theater but something like Al's Beer Tank!
