Who called me from this number?

Received a call from this number. His information was partial but not correct. He refused to give any other information.

Received a call from a lady with a very light bajun accent from tele number.  Caller ID reflected NY.  She said she was calling from a collection agency, Intel global (something like that).  She said I owed $2,133.66 on a late bill and asked me how I was going to pay.  She was very scripted.  Couldn't help toying with her soooooooo, I told her that she was wrong and that I owed $4,266 and I'll need her account number to send the money.  After a very long pause she yelled at me saying that I owed her $2,133.66 and then a screaming match ensued between her and I with me saying no it was $4,266. Messed her all up!

This place calls me everyday sometimes twice a day looking for someone by the name of yasir.  I have repeatedly told them that they have the wrong phone number but they keep calling...any ideas on how to get them to stop?

Repeated calls from 212-295-3507. Caller id shows "New York".  We do not answer calls from unknown, unsoliciated numbers and they will not leave a message.

They call at least once a day, but never bother to leave a message.

Most phone companies offer a service called selective call rejection, where you can specify a number to reject. i.e. 2152953507.

I'm going to try it out and see what happens?

I too have gotten calls from this number. They are associated with "intelenet Global Services" and based on my research, the group is a hoax trying to collect money on past debts already paid.

I started getting calls from this number once a day for a couple days, I didn't answer and no one ever left a message.

Finally, I answered it and it was some guy with a difficult to understand Indian-sounding accent. He said he was calling to collect a debt that I know I settled over a year ago, and he didn't even have the correct amount. I asked him for an account statement and what the charges were for and he had no answer and just kept repeating that I owed the money. Finally, I said, "look, I already paid this and I KNOW you're a scam. You're not going to see a dime from me." He hung up on me.

There was nothing for a few days, then I started getting the calls 2-3 times daily for the last week. Today I answered and said, "I keep getting calls from this number twice a day and no one leaves a message. If you are a scam or a telemarketing company, you better stop calling me NOW. I want to be taken off your list." He asked if there was anyone by my name at this number and I told him no. He politely said I'd been removed from the list.

Hopefully I don't get anymore calls.

I get a few call form 212-295-3507 and my Called ID says New York, NY. You guys and gals are approching this all wrong.  Filing a complaint with the FCC or the No Call Police doesn't do a thing. Do you really think the FCC really monitors 100 million calls a day?   What we have here is a war.  Approch this with the "fight fire with fire" mind set.

1. Check your phone as portable phones have call blocker options.  Block the number.
2. Set your answering machine to pick up on two rings and with no recording.  Of course tell you frineds and employer if they happen to call - you will call them back.  Explain that you are getting harassing calls.
3. Turn the phone ringer off and check the caller ID before and after work and call back the important calls.
4. My phone has "night mode" Automatically goes into night mode at 6:00 PM. goes off at 9:00 AM.  No rings or messages. Just a log of calls on caller ID
5. I take the number to work and I dial in the number to our company faxes. We have four department faxes - Dial in 212-295-3507.  I program the number into the memory 20 times.  It calls every time. If 20 or 30 of us start doing this it would be fun. They call back and get a fax squeel.
6. Post the 212-295-3507 number on the local sales tackboard. List FREE GOLD RINGS TO THE FIRST 100 Callers.
7. Post the 212-295-3507 number in a local sex shop for free sex call.
8. Post the 212-295-3507 number in the local bar or on the restroom wall for a good time call 212-295-3507.
9. A great one - When the other BS callers call you - Give them the 212-295-3507 number as your return phone number.
10. Put a message on your answering machine which says - I'm not in right now but you can reach me at 212-295-3507.
11. Another thing - never call the number or attempt to stop the calls.  The people on the other end are paid for the number of contacts they make. Either by call in or out. So when you call them back or you answer the phone someone gets paid a commission.
12. Set your answering message to be blank or silient for 1 1/2 minutes. Phone rings and answering machine picks and it is silient, doesn't hang up or do anything for a minuite. The harassing callers hang up in 30 or 45 seconds everytime.

If anyone else has some good battle plans to fight off these bottom feeders - please list them.

they just called i argued for about 5 minutes or so. then i put phone directly in front of speaker of television and just left it there and continued preparing dinner. i noticed after about another 10 minutes of him trying to argue with Seinfeld he eventually hung up.

I talked with this "indian Accent" this afternoon over a debt my wifes ex was supposed to pay after their divorce.  I fought with him for about 30 minutes over a 6 year old debt of 1800.00.  I offered to settle for $1.  He asked if I was joking and I told him I was very serious.  Eventually we came to the conclusion that this was a negotiation and he offered to settle for $760 and said I would save 50%.  I countered with $20, thinking I could save alot more.  He again asked if I was joking.  I told him again that was the top of what I was willing to pay.  I came up 20 times from my original offer, he had only come down half.  I think I showed my willingness to work and he would not meet me in the middle.  When he reduces his amount by 20 times we can try again.

These idiots call me three times a day, EVERY day. The very first time they called I answered (hey, I didn't know who it was!) and they told me something about owing a debt from YEARS ago. It could very well be true, but the statute has expired, they can't actively collect, and there's nothing negative on my credit report. So suck on that! I could barely understand the guy and to this day have no idea what creditor he was even referring to.

Anyway, I blocked the number so now it just gets dumped into my phone spam folder. I never even see it unless I choose to look in the folder. Amazing that they call so often!

This number calls several times every day at all hours.  If I answer, there is nobody there.  When I call the number on the caller ID a lady with a strong accent (difficult to understand) tells me I owe money to a credit card that I have never had.  She just keeps talking and won't listen as I keep trying to tell her I do not and never have had a credit card from this place.  I am on the "Do Not Call List" and don't understand why she is still calling me.  I asked them not to, but they still call at least four times every day--including week-ends and holidays.  Is this some kind of new scam?  How do I get them to stop calling?

gets calls from this number all the time, sometimes wont answer when i pick up, and tonight when i got a response by a guy with a strong india accent, he would not tell me why he was calling.

I was trying to get him to tell me why he was calling me and for him to get to the point but he wouldnt tell me why he was calling, but kept asking to speek to me so after a few  minutes of me telling to him to get to the point and to quit calling me I got fed up with him and hung up on him.

im about ready to file harassment charges against him since i have ask several times for him to quit calling me and he refuses.

It looks like this is an individual.  It is time we all reported these calls to the proper authorities.  :-)

Several calls a day from this number.  I know I haven't used any services from this strange number, but I read somewhere that these people are trying to scam people into thinking they owe a large amount of money to the company.  This sounds very much like a big fraud and hopefully we can figure out a way to stop them.

no message, repeated calls over last month

calls ALL the darn time, I'm tired of it. Wish i lived within a couple hundred miles of it. I'd pay to get the address.....

This number calls constantly and never leaves a message.  The calls come at all hours of the night.

Frequent calls. It shows up on my caller ID, and I don't anwer.

Third time receiving this call in the form of a message. When I answered the third time, there was no one there.  There is no connection whatsoever between this number/caller and me.

Repeated calls asking for some one I never heard from and insist that they called from my number.

Constant calls from this phone number.  No one ever says anything or answers when I pick up.  When I call the number back, an Indian person answers asking for someone else!  They tell me that they will remove my number from the database.

This number calls me at least 8-10 times a day.  They say that I owe them money from an unspecified place.  I ahv elooked them up elsewhere and many people have reported this same thing.

Lots of call from this number. Never say anythings. Extremely annoying!

Talked to them today.  Rude and can barely understand them.
