We have been getting calls from this number sporadically, most recently this morning. The caller is offering a limited deal that he supposedly talked to my husband about and is looking for a decision.  He is pushy and aggressive and when I asked where he got our number, since we registered with donotcall he hung up.

Stock broker sales scam. They call asking for the company prez like he's a long lost friend. When asked what company, "Just tell him it's Dennis Reardon" (Or some such). So I say "Please hold", put 'em on ignore, and see how long they'll wait. ;) Waste my time, I waste your time...

I get the same idiot people calling our office from "The Ooffice of John Thomas".  Pushing guys with Brooklyn accents.  "Can you just put me through?" is what they will ask me.  They act like they are old buddies & are hoping to bypass the phone call screening.  

Our called ID just says "Name Not Found 000-000-0000" - it's these same idiots every time.

Called up and asked for the owner by his first name, like they were long lost friends. I asked his name, and then the company. He mumbled some name and "The Office of John Thomas".

I then did what I do with all these idiots, very politely said "Please Hold" and put him on ignore. (Waste my time and I'm going to waste your time...)

This person called and asked for the owner of the company.
I stated truthfully, "he is not here."
The person immediately called back and asked for the owner of the company again.
I stated again, "he is not here." This borders on telephone harassment.

This number has shown up on my caller id many times.  Today I answered it and it was some guy trying to sell me investment advice.  When I started asking questions, he became angry and started yelling over the phone.  So I just hung up.

This guy is a spammer.  He called and hung up.  I called back and asked why he called and he started swearing at me.

Same story as all of the others.  He tries to pressure the person who answers into buying stocks of companies that they book.  His latest ploy is to act like we've talked and I made a promise to him to purchase stock if his "free" advice panned out.  I hung up on him and I suggest you do the same.

he said his name was "Jason Reardon" and he is oriental. would not give a company name and hung up when I offered him voicemail... he has called back a couple of times but hangs up when I answer.
