The caller asked for "Carol." I asked, "Carol, who?", because there two Carols in our office. He then specified the business owner by stating her last name. I told him she was not in the office today, and asked if he'd like to leave a message. He said 'no,' muttered something I didn't understand, then hung up before I could offer to forward his call to her voice mail. Whatever he wanted obviously wasn't important enough for him to complete the call so the next time I see that number on our caller ID, I know it's okay to ignore it. I assume it was a telemarketer.
