Same thing.  Caller insisted I give out the owner's cell phone number...tried to sound like he knows the owner personally.  When I said "I can't give out that number" for the second time, he hung up.  Can we arrest this scammer?

Call from this number asked for owners's cell. Said he was expecting his call.

He claims to be a stockbroker.  The first few times he called he claimed to be from John Thomas or Thomas John Financial and on subsequent calls he would not answer questions about what company he works for.  He calls and acts like we're bosom buddies and makes refeerences to previous conversations we've never had.  He has my name but I have an unlisted number.  Very obnoxious and pushy.  I strung him along to waste some of his time and he never broke character, even when I totally changed answers as to where I lived, etc.  As the conversation went on he started asking me how much money I had in the stock market and whether I'd be willing to give him my social security number over the phone if we did business together.  LOL!  He's called me at least six times, always with a different telephone number.  These are the numbers he's used.  On 4 of the calls it was unknown but on two calls it was identified as John, Thomas Financial.

A male from this number called my place of work & asked for the owner.  When I told him he was not here yet he said "okay what's his cell?"  I told him that we cannot give out his cell phone number and the man angrily shot back "give me his cell phone number."  I said "I'm sorry, I can't do that but would you like his voicemail?" and the man hung up the phone.  So far, he has not called back.
