Number called at 5:40 in the afternoon asking for my mother or father said the name was Todd.No idea how they have the number of my house.& The man sounded deep voiced around 45 years old.

Called my house line looking for the parents of a child that were PREVIOUS tenants in the home I'm renting....when I asked the woman how MY NEW PHONE NUMBER, which I just received when I moved in here, is associated with tenants that previously lived here AND had a different phone number and phone service altogether, she yelled "I don't friggen know" and hung up! WTF!?!?

Called my NEW landline (house, not cellular) number looking for the parents of a child that was a PREVIOUS tenant in this house....When I asked her HOW she associated the previous tenants with MY number, that I just received from a new service when I moved in here, she yelled "I don't friggen know" and hung up! several calls from this number today...no response even when I answered the phone.

This number has been calling and calling when I answer there's typically no one there on they hang on the line.  Today I answered with stanbdard hello, a male said oh I am sorry we have the wrong number...????
How does he know it's the wrong # ?
Who is .... we ?
Never asked for anyone by name.
I called the number on caller id and shown above: it's octel and the number show above is invalid....

The guy is a scumbag.   He is tells you he is selling SAT turtorial cd's and then when you ask him his webstite info to get more information, he hangs up.    Trashy dude.

Tired of these idiots calling here.   A Mr. Sunberg calls today and claims my son asked for some materials to get ready for testing.  As I started to ask him where he was calling from because the caller ID said New York and he said he was calling from California.  Is it legal to use masking software like that?  So as soon as I start to question this Sunberg guy and he hangs up on me.  I am not surprised by the other comments here.

This number has been calling my house multiple times. No one has answered the call until today. I answered and some man asked for my mom or dad. When my mom asked me if I have taken the ACT the man hung up. I want to know how and why these people have my name and number.

my mom said this number has been calling the house with ACT prep course and hang up. I'm just blocking the number. I'm assuming that these people have access to a database from schools because I'm a senior in college to be needing ACT prep.

Caller asked for parents of my daughter.  I said this is the mom.  She said she was from some educational something or another and wanted to sell me ACT prep course to raise my daughter's ACT score.  I asked her "HOW did you get my number? AND my daughter's name?"  She said your daughter signed up for this information.  I said no she didn't.  She got SNIPPY with me and said " How do you know??"  I told her b/c I HOMESCHOOL my daughter and I know exactly what she signs up for!!!  She said I must have signed up for something.  I told her No I haven't --- I would have known!!  She then said well, this is a homeschool course and you get the student discount for $199, we'll guarantee that we will raise scores up at least 4 points, and they will be able to get more scholarships and you can try it for 30 days and see if you like it, and we guarantee that it will raise up 4 points or you get your money back.  I told her I think that this is a scam and if I purchase it ... I will never get my money back, get us off your list.  All I heard was a dial tone. She hung up on me!

Called asking for daughters (caller knew the name of the girl) parents. I asked if I could take a message, they said sure, then hung up. It was a female voice. The caller ID said "Ny"

Several calls from this number at about 4:45 each afternoon.  The caller id reads NY.  Want them to stop and am putting a block on the number.

Had several calls from this number several days in a row.....around 4:45pm.  I tried calling it back and there is no voice mail box for this number.  CAller id reads NY.

Called today, ID said only "NY".  He asked for my daughter's Mother or Father....I said, "Wrong Number" and hung up.  

The call sounds suspiciously like a call from a "Martin, Anderson" which routed through a WA number....same request.  creepy sounding man asking for the residents child's parents....block, refuse, don't answer..........just too suspicious sounding.
