Update:

I answered the 3rd time they called.  They were looking for the same girl I've been getting calls for, for the past 3 years.  The person who owned my phone # before has been in financial troubles I'm assuming, because I've been getting collector calls for her since I got the phone #.

I promptly told them that I've owned this number for years and they said I would no longer receive calls.

I get calls from this number every day.  I have no idea who they are.  They leave an automated voicemail (machine) which a bunch of crap that does not pertain to me.  Please shut them down.

calls me twice a day.  caller ID says "New York"  Really, the state of new york is calling me?  Jerks.

getting 3-4 calls each day from this number. No message left. This has gone on for months!

Yeah - I get "New York" on my caller ID, and they hang up when they get my machine. Chase, huh?

I have the same problem.  They call several times a day.  And they usually start in the morning around 8am eastern.  I work nights and I get woke up by them every single morning. And it's every day, including saturday AND sunday. Is it ever going to stop?  It seem like enough complaints have been lodged against this company that it should be shut down.  I wonder why it hasn't.  I, like many others, have no credit card debt.  I don't even own a credit card.  So how can I have any credit card debt?

First of all. These people and I refer to those who are outsourced are still people.  They are just doing a job that pays nothing, and are not any happier making the calls than you are to get them.  Would you like getting yelled at on every phone call? If you lived in a poor country (The U.S. is the richest 3rd world country on Earth) then you would do what you had to, to support your family.  And don't give the BS that they are taking American Jobs.  Would you do the job they're doing?  Be realistic, that's why there is so much outsourcing. Customers can verbally abuse the cheap labor.  Shades of Leona Helmsly....

With that said, I too am getting these calls and found this site.  I owe no debt to my knowledge and the only message I've ever gotten was a partial one on voice mail where the gentleman kept saying "hello, hello?".  It's too bad that we can't locate this company and it's owners.  I live not far from Plano, TX so if anyone confirms their location, I'll drive to their site and give them the old bird with some American gusto.

Easiest thing to do if they're calling your cell phone -- give the number a "special" ringtone of silent so you never even hear the call.

Obviously some scumbag has bought the "debt" for pennies on the dollar and outsourced the calling to half-witted Indians.

I have been getting calls from this number!  It is recorded, I owe money and I'm being taken to a credit agency.  Do I have to file with BBB or FTC?  They read me the last four digits of a SSN and they were not mine, I would not give them mine, I just hung up!

I get the call everyday. From early in the morning to all hours of the night.

These a-holes left a call-back number of 1-866-241-2519 good between 8 am and 10 pm EST Mon-Fri and Sat, Sun 9-8, mailbox#18.  I've been calling them back outside hours, leaving nasty messages.  I suggest you do the same.  It's their dime, and your relief.  F those guys.

A voice from India said I had a credit card debt from 1991.  LOL  Can you imagine? I have no crdit card debts.  They call 4-5 times a day and I would love to report them for harrassment. Who can I report them to?

I get calls from this number about 4 times a day.  Never leave a message and if you answer the line goes dead.  I don't even get up to get my phone when it rings anymore because it is always this number.

I've been getting calls from this number over the past several weeks. I never answer because it is not a familiar number, and I don't know anybody in the 212 area code. After getting a call today I decided to put this number in a Google search, and now I see I'm not the only one. I'm glad I came upon this website, as now I know it is a scam. I will be in contact with the BBB and FTC myself if that is what it takes to stop these pesty calls. Thank you Lorraine for giving me this information.

Non stop calls whether you answer or not.

We've been getting calls from this number again (it happened a few months ago, then stopped). One day a man actually left a message but it was vague and said nothing about the reason for the call. The other times, the caller just hangs up with no message left.

I've searched the internet fairly thoroughly and haven't been able to figure out who this company is. Someone somewhere said it's a collection agency in Plano, TX but this is a New York City area code. If I could just find out the name of the freakin' company, I'd love to go after them.

I also have asked them to take me off over 10 times and have also been listed on the do not call list. the number the bit-- calls is my cell. I want them off. What do I do?

This is an outsource credit agency ... called today to verify charges on an account.  Left an 800 number to call.  Called the bank.  Bank verified and said I needed to call the 800 number ... that's who they outsource to.

This cow calls me every day also. I google hey are in Plano want to sue.

These people call me every day and don't leave a message.  Why are they still getting away with it?
