Prank Call
I just received a phone call from this phone number as well. The person on the phone claimed that my computer have been compromised. I have few computers at home, so, I asked her which computer she was referring to, however, she wasn't able to tell me which computer have the problem (I didn't tell her how many computer I have anyway). she said if I don't believe her, I can check the license number on the computer, which it will match on her screen. she told me to type in "cmd" on the Run commend box. that's when I hang up on her.

Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No message, just the phone number on my ID caller. It's interesting reading because I have been having a lot of problems with my computer but not being a dope or pushover I won't even bother to call them because I'm hard of hearing and have enough trouble on the phone.

I just received a call from 212-415-7895 claiming someone in TX was sharing my ip address and was trying to hack my computer.  The scam artist talked very fast and said okay quite a bit.  He asked me to give him access to my computer so he could help me.  I just laughed, said "Hell no!" and hung up.  Obviously, they were trying to get personal info off my computer.  Do not fall for this!!!

This is a SCAM:  A man called and told me that my ip address was sending a message to Micro Soft that my computer was being hacked. I could hear what sounded like a call center in the background. I told him to remove me from their phone list and to not call again.

This number 212-415-7895 called me on my work phone but left no message - I didn't pick it up as I did not recognze the number so I left it alone.  I'm sure I would've gotten the same kind of bot script reported by the others here.

Prank Call
Just received a disturbing phone call from this number 212-415-7895. The woman claimed my computer had been hacked. I had a terribly hard time understanding her. However, I did understand that she wanted me to turn my computer on. I was very leery of this. So, I told her that, "Yes my uncle has a computer"! She then proceeded to explan to me that my computer had been hacked and she needed me to turn it on so that she could hElp me fix the problem. I repeated what she said. I assume when she thoughts she had a 'victim' she felt safe enough to ask me to hold on for her supervisour. I then decided to hang up. This game was over for me! The funny thing is that my laptop is only a few semesters old and I never renewed my spyware so how the heck would anyone know whether I've been hacked or not???? Not to mention they sure chose the wrong individual this time as I just recently had my identity 'hacked' and it took over a month for the monies spent to be returned to my bank. Therefore, it would be really stupid for me to believe someone that sounds like they're on the next boat sneaking into the states!!! Good luck to them!!! I will be alerting the authorities and the FBI. (Cyber Crimes Unit) and whomever else is out there.

Prank Call
i got a call from this number at 12 noon. The caller said that your computer is being hacked I said No it's not and hung up. Received a call from the same number a half hour ago.  He said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was being hacked. I said I'm sorry to hear that, he seemed a little confused. He told me that someone was using my computer from Texas and did I give someone permission. I said no, but I really did not want to give him any information. He asked if I did online banking and bills. I told him I just used the computer to read the news and look for store sales. He told me how dangerous it was to have someone  hack my computer. I told him someone told me that and I called HP.I repeated HP and he hung up. I received a similar call a few days where the guy just said he was checking my internet and had me go into event viewer to show me how many errors I had. He than wanted to transfer me to a technician to fix the problem, fee depending on problem. I had believed this guy but I didn't want to pay any money. These calls are making me nervous. I realize now they are scams, but what's next? They'll keep trying until they succeed one way or another

Call Type To select below would be SCAM not PRANK. But Scam Is not an option!  Today 12/11/2013 Got the same call from this # pretending to be from microsoft and my pc had been hacked.  Luckily I knew better and toyed with them a bit and told them I don't use a windows based pc that I am a Mac user (lie)...  They reassured me that they could STILL handle my hacking problem even though I had a Mac.  I played dumb and asked them what a hacker was and while he was "explaining" it to me I googled the # and this came up!  I said to him..  "thats funny that you say you are from Microsoft because when I googled the number you are calling from the results said that you were a scam artist"..  of course he hung up ..  Luckily I knew better but pass the word along because someone like my Mom would have probably freaked out and given the creep any information he wanted!  careful out there!

This caller said his name is Phil or Bill and that he is working on behalf of Microsoft. He gave me the same spiel about my computer being hacked etc. I said to him, Oh no, you don't!!! You don't pull that scam with me. I'm a computer tech (truth) and the only way my computer is going to be hacked, is if you're doing it directly from your computer via the website, or chat module or computer to computer. Microsoft doesn't give a flying f*ck about my computer being hacked. I'm going to report you to the authorities right now!!! He hanged up on the authorities...

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

Got a call from this number yesterday. Something about my computer being hacked but could barely understand what man was trying to say because of his heavy accent. I asked for someone else so he put me on hold and came back a few seconds later, attempting to disguise his voice. Would be hilarious if he wasn't so stupid. I purposely kept interrupting with "huhs?" and "what's?" and he got very annoyed. I played along, laughing inside, trying to get more info and to make him waste his "valuable" time. Ha! I asked him where he was calling from. He said Microsoft. I asked where are you calling from, your location? He said Washington DC. My next question was why is a NYC number appearing on my caller ID then? Heard a bunch of rustling before he hung up on me. I attempted to call back but no incoming calls were allowed. In the age of frequent scams and identity theft, can't believe anyone will fall for their crap.

First of all I could not even understand what this fool was telling me. Learn to speak English. I got a call a day or two ago from some clown claiming my computer was hacked I told him I had the Geek Squad and my computer was fine.. He hung up on me LOL. Try telling these fools you have Geek Squad on your side even if you don't apparently it scares the crap out of these loosers. Only this fool didn't even have a full number. 31313 is all that came up on my caller id on my cell phone. Today someone called me from 212-415-7895, I could not understand him at all I think he was trying to tell me someone got my social security number. I hung up on him. If he calls me back I think I will tell him to get a life and stop trying to scam people and get a real job like the rest of us.  I am so sick of people being lazy and not working like everyone else in the world. I just wish these people could be caught they are so obnoxious.

called saying that someone was trying to hack my computer; they were getting a report from microsoft.  So I said, oh, you're from Microsoft?  And she says, no, we're calling on behalf of Microsoft.  Oookay, I say, and... she says that if I will turn on my computer she will help me.  No, I said, if you'll give me your number, if I have a problem, I'll call you.  Amazingly, she did give me a phone number, which I haven't bothered to try to see if it's legit - said they're called "AllTimeTechSupport.com".  Well, they did call me back months ago and I just hung up on them.  Not sure what the scam is, but I know it is one, and I'd never put anything on my computer that they said, for sure!  Microsoft probably wouldn't like them representing themselves as being them or calling on their behalf!

my mother got this call on our home phone.  man with indian ACCENT said he was from Washington then another said they were located out of india with all time tech solutions, working for Microsoft I have confirmed that Microsoft does not call customers like this and has no affiliation with this company. Do not let them gain access to your computer. they will ask for remote access and then ask you to open a secure email link for you to pay them via credit card in the amount of 250.00 for a lifetime use of nortan security etc. THIS IS A SCAM.
