Man called asking for the doctor.  Told me it was Tom Higgins.  I asked what it was regarding.  He kept being persistent that he had to talk to the doctor.  I asked what it was regarding.  He stated a MA (medical assistant) recommendation, then gave me his number.

No one there, when call answered. Clowns!!

These jokers are terrible! So rude on the phone - like I want to do business with that?!?

Company calls at least 1x per week and asks for the owner...but uses a shortened version of the boss's name, which he never goes by.  First clue it's a telemarketer.  When I try to get name and number...they either hang up or are extremely rude.  So just hang up on them.

Here is the deal. Normally I wouldn?t waste my time to post something regarding a rude sales pitch or repetitive hang up call but my frustrations with this telephone number (212)417-7777, and the frequency at which they call are too much. They have ither called and hung up on my staff, or demanded to speak to the owner then rudley hung up on my staff when the caller was told I was not available.
The time it takes for  my staff to track information like this down takes away from the team and the clients we serve. A little investigating and I?ve found this number to belong to Empire Asset. http://empireasset.com/home_blank_1.aspx?spid=13742&ptype=HOME.  
Someone with a mission statement like the one stated on the home page within the link above dont equate to the sales tatics they employ. It simply dosent exemplify the type of company I would do business with ever!
Called and asked for my number to be removed. I will report them to the proper authorities should this continue.

Scammers selling investment advice.

They called here. I can tell by the tone of voice that it's a scam. My guess is "investment advice." People like this call all the time and I can spot them a mile away. They're overly familiar, as if I know them. They ask for me by name.

Hung up on my answering machine.

Bad reception...guy was rude.  Asked for business owner and when I indicated he was not available, hung up.

Got a call from a 'Vince Manzo' asking to speak to my boss. Asked him what it was regarding and he repeated he wanted to speak to the boss. Asked him again and he hung up. Said he was with "Empire",

some idiot calls my job and says 'hey is chuck in?'  i say, chuck who? and he says, thanks i'll try him back later and hung up.  am i missing something?
