This was a NY call and they said someone gave them our name as we needed a Medic Alert. They will send us one along with $1,000 free grocery coupons usable at any market. WHEN PIGS FLY!!!
Guess they think seniors are stupid -- I'm in Mensa and have 167 I.Q.

keep calling with recording--must be getting our numbers from govt--otherwise how would they know if we were seniors or not. Never press numbers--that shows you acknowledged their calls

Caller listed as "New York" "212-539-6925" Caller ID caught it, so we didn't pick up (letting them know they had a callable number). Our very old Tele-Zapper even caught this nuisance after only 3.2 rings. They didn't get to the answerer. Hope these scum don't get tips and hints from our posts, BTW. But, if they're reading this, let me advise them: GFY!
Surprised that the heading read "New York," literally.

They called and left this message: "We are calling to schedule the install of your new life alert which has been paid for buy a family member or loved one who is concerned about your health due to your recent falls." What a crock of crap. They've called at least 3 times now. "Caller Name Unknown" but Thank you caller ID for the number.

The medic alert for seniors scammer's only reason for calling is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!i

I just got a call which I will add to my block list. I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers. If other phone models are connected you will still get the first ring on them.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

These jerks love to target old folks. There oughta be a law....or at least, one that can be enforced!

Now using a different number but the same sales pitch. Wanted to sell me medical alert device. Have told them to stop calling and have press 9 so many time that my finger hurts. The operator insisted that my name be given and until she had a name she could not delete my number. filed a complaint with the FCC, like that will do any good, my number is on the do not call list but they still call.
