Got a call from 212-685-2980 twice to my cell phone with no messages.
I called back few times and got busy tone.

I recognized the # this time answered "FBI regional office, your name please".

LOL!  it works every time..they hang up fast!

I got a call from this number and the caller ID said VERIZON. Automated message said to pick 1 to talk to someone about lowering my interest, or 2 for something else. Then the call was disconnected.

Caller ID said "VERIZON" ( my carrier) so I picked up. It was an automated call: "We're calling about your credit card account. There's nothing wrong with your account, but it's important that you call us back to lower your interest rate." I hung up.

I got a call from this number when I asked how he got my cell phone number he hung up on me. Very professional

The "card services" scammers get away with it, because they are criminals, criminals do not obey the do not call registries, and there remains groups of people, such as the low income and the elderly, who sometimes, because of financial  considerations, do not have caller id or the internet to protect themselves from these lowlifes.This scam, which has been going on for years, will remain lucrative to them, until those of us who are aware of these disgusting creatures, inform others, who are their main targets.

i would like to report that i got a call from 212-685-2980. automatic message saying it was card services calling about my credit card and that there was no problem with my card.  i hung up.  my phone # is listed as a do not call number, so how do they get away with it?  

Got a call on my cell phone. As soon as I heard the beginning of the pitch I hung up. These pricks call the house too. They never leave a message. I just put them in my cell phone address book as scammer. They will never get me to pick up again.

Got a call after 4pm on 3/28. Did not answer. No voice mail was left.

Received a call when I answered It was silence  when I checked the number on line  comments on line  in alerted my company just in case

Received pre recorded msg, press 1 to learn more, I did, got a person named Raj, asked for a callback number and he hung up. Stop focusing on pot NY, and go hardcore on these scumbags.

No message left. Simply continually calls, then when you try to call back it is busy.

Yep, got a call on March 28, 8:40 a.m. on my cell phone!  I did not return the call.

Got a call from this number saying they were credit card services and there wasn't any problem with my card.  A recording and I hung up before they finished.

I got a call today, March 27th from this number at about 2:45p. It says the call came from NY. They are credit card scammers. How they got my number I don't know but I called my bank to check on my accounts. Apparently my bank has been alerted to this scam or something because they said many other people have been affected by this particular scam. They had already cancelled my card. Don't answer if they call and if they do call your bank immediately to be sure your account is ok.

Called my cell.  Left no message.  Telemarketer for sure!!!

Got one call from them just now. Before answering I googled the number and voila! I was already reading other people's comments by the time the phone stopped ringing. Right after that, I blocked the number. You can also block a number on Samsung Galaxy.

Thank you for telling me about the credit cards. I'll keep a very close watch on them.

Got 2 calls in a row from number.  I just realized you can block numbers on your iPhone.  Go to the call in the call list then info then scroll to bottom and there is an option to block caller.  If they call again your phone will not ring and they cannot leave a VM.  Sweet!

I got a call from this number early on 3/27. I didn't answer and no message was left.

2126852980, same call ,didnt answer, on call back busy signal.

"Credit Card services" offering to lower my interest rate. He asked about current balance. Then I got suspicious. Could not tell me what interest rate he is offering. Could not tell me what card he is calling about. Did not trust. Fast speaking Indian accent. Hang up.

called - left no voice mail also getting text messages from 469-231-7641 and 214-315-3940 - it appears that these numbers take turn in either calling or sending text messages - they maybe grouped

My husband just got a call from this number and answered. It was a recording saying they would lower the interest rate on his credit card. He does not have a cc but does have a debit which is not used online. I told him to hang up. I will now have to watch accounts. We are also on the do not call list, for as much good as it does.
