ljubicic called on 6-2 and 6-3, and when I answer no one responds: Immediate call back gets a recording that says "number not in service." I am listing this caller with other suspicious calls in a complaint to the Public Service Commissions Office in my state, requesting they be investigated.

Recieved call from this same guy, Steven, two days in a row. I have a brand new number just a week old. How do I get him off his list.

irritating ;I want to know who causes these calls and find out where they sleep at night.

i'm in the tampa bay/st. pete area.  wasn't home when call was made and there was no message left.

I contacted Steven Ljubicic through facebook, and he moved from that location 4 years ago. He is aware of the phone calls being made, and has done many things to try and stop them, including calling the district attorney. The phone company has done nothing about it, despite his attempts. If you see another forum with people talking about this, please let others know. Torches and pitchforks don't need to brought into this.

I got a call at my office from this number, but you need to enter my ext? how did that happen? anyway this number is a fake / scam number and should be reported you cannot call them back it says out of service , so you know its some one trying to steal from people , if they call again i will call the police , here in Florida I have family working for the police dept and we will get through.

Ya, it's bullchit.  I hear my cell ring and think - oh cool, maybe it's a prospective employer or a pal. I did the reverse phone lookup and got "Steven Ljubicic" also. I did not answer.

These calls mysteriously stopped when I posted all those numbers in the original post, so there must be some Federal agency monitoring this site and working to stop the calls.

Or it's pure coincidence, which I highly doubt.

Called me last night.  We didn't answer.  We're in Colorado.

Someone called me from this number.  I did not answer because i did not recognized it, so i decided to google it and found out that this phone number is being used to scam people.  This is the reason i am reporting it today.

Got a call on my Blackberry today from this number.  I did a search on it and found it to be Steven Ljubicic, 240 E 27th St, New York, NY 10016. No message was left.

I got a call from this number today about 6 times in a row because I said, "stop calling me, I know this is a scam." they called me back 6 times in 15 minutes.

I have had about 10 calls from these people today, on my home phone and cell phone. Not only that, they ring on different numbers and all are the same - robotic voice asking for 'Henry'.

Received a call from 212-685-3857, when I answer, there was no one there.  I called the number back and the operator voice came on and say that this number was no longer in service.

Received call on my mobile phone.  New York number, same area code that some of my relatives have, so I answered.  It was a recorded womans voice advertising a solution to get out of debt from credit cards and home mortgage.  Doesn't say what company she is soliciting.  A cheap illegal scam.

I have received calls from this phone number several times, but did not answer.
Today I did answer and someone was talking about Obama's plan to help home-
owners with their mortgage payment. This has been a strange, I haven't had a mortgage in twenty years!Who owns this mystery phone number?

Nomessage left, but when I try to return the call I get the message that the number has been disconnected.

Got a call today from Steven Ljubicic with 212-685-3857 as the number listed on the caller ID.

I also get other calls with other names (Staci Courtney is a common one) from other places
sometimes.

Nowadays, telemarketers and others are using the new technologies to route their calls through disconnected
land lines or sometimes even still operating land lines. This is designed to make you think that you are getting
a personal call, and pick up the phone.

You might think it is an old friend, someone either you or a spouse knows personally, and old, long-lost relative
or whatever, and take the call.

Sometimes the caller ID just gives the location (such as city and state) of the incoming call, with the same objective in mind. If you know someone in that city,  you might think it is them calling you.

I find it best to just bypass any such calls. If it is anyone important, they will leave a voice mail message. If they do not leave a message, it is not a call you likely will want to receive.

I live in Florida, btw.

I just recieved a call from 212-685-3857 about ten minutes ago.I didn't pick up because I usually don't pick up on unfamiliar names and numbers,but I believe I've seen that number before.
