I just switched from Vonage to AT&T. I never got calls like these when I was with Vonage, but in the week since I switched to AT&T my caller ID is swamped with all kinds of different "Unknown Caller" numbers. In fact, i got my first call about 3 hours after the service was connected!! These guys work fast. I assume they are all telemarketers, but I would like to know how they get my number so quickly. There must be some type of list of all new numbers activated or something.
Anyone know what this one is?

This is a satilite enrollment hotline. If you call back they will give a little speech then you can press 8 to be put on their do not call list.

Got the same call its about Satellite TV. Finny thing was I was searching the number to make sure it was legit when I came across this posting!

I ended up signing up with them because I just got a new HD and Satellite has a large number of HD channels!

Got this call numerous times. I would never sigh up with these people over the phone especially if they call more than one time a day when i said i am not interested!!

They call all the time and they allways call around dinner time for me.

They called me, I told them I was on the DNC list. They apologized, said it can sometimes take time for that list to be enacted but the rep (a guy) said he would make sure I don't get called again.

Received a call from this number. I asked to be added to their DO NOT CALL list - was hung up on. I then called back and was hung up on again. During my third call to the company, the SAME female informed me that I would be receiving calls in the future at 2:00 in the morning. This company is called Satellite Roman Center and they sell DISH network. When I contacted DISH network to inform them of the type of people they have selling their product I was informed that there was noting they could do.
